"The poorly maintained property is disgusting. The ground is far from level anywhere. The headstones are not lined in a row and have not even been placed straight. The fees charged are outrageous compared to the minimal services provided. The people in charge of this place should be ashamed. It's evident they don't care. If you are looking for a final resting place, pass this one & keep looking or visit the property and see for yourself."

"This is the worst run, worst maintained ACTIVE cemetery I have ever seen. They finally managed to trim the weeds down but no one bothers to clean the trash at the fence line-unless you are on the older side where the money is. My mother recently passed away and my parents purchased plots here in 1993 when my brother died. This place has steadily declined since. The headstone are just randomly placed. It looks like a drunk 3rd grader put this place together. Some of the stones are sinking while others have been run over with tractors and broken. These markers cost a grieving family a lot of money for the cemetery association and the city workers to not care. We had to pay $425 EXTRA for my mother's graveside service. For a hole about 2 feet deep by maybe 20 inches wide for her urn to be placed legally. There was the extra cost from the funeral home for chairs and a tent. We arrived to find a whooping 8 chairs, a ragged old piece of astroturf and no tent. When asked where the tent was we were informed they wouldn't allow tents. Great! It's 95 degrees out with 8 chairs lined up in the direct sun. Awesome!! We had several older folks and a couple with disabilities. We could've brought post hole diggers, lawn chairs and a canopy and done a better job. Then, when the service was complete the worker backed his pickup down a row of graves so he wouldn't have to carry 8 whole chairs as far. Very disrespectful. I beg you, please consider using another cemetery for the eternal resting place of your loved ones. They don't care about anything except how much money they can rob you of."

"This is a disgrace to the people buried here! The grounds are very poorly kept, trash and over grown weeds. Some of the headstones are sinking!"

"The Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery is on this site, and is recognized by the Texas Historical Commission. Graves here include war veterans, victims of the 1918-1919 influenza epidemic, as well as those of families that contributed to the early growth of Mansfield."
