"The staff is nice but I'm shocked at how much it costs. I signed up for services at this clinic since I use Affinia for other aspects of healthcare and qualify for the second lowest pricing based on their sliding scale. Unfortunately, they do not offer sliding scale costs at the dental clinic if you don't have insurance (which they did not bother to tell me until I was already at my appointment) - they do offer 50% off if you pay in cash, but even after that discount it was WAY more than I would've expected. If you only need dental hygienist services (no fillings, surgery, etc), I strongly recommend looking into STLCC Forest Park Dental Clinic instead - a full cleaning + full x-rays is only $27, whereas the exact same services cost me $212 (after the 50% discount) at this student clinic, and it takes roughly the same amount of time."

"I was accepted on a veteran's grant. They found a retiring dentist who was willing to extract my teeth with the student dentist present. Then the school made my dentures from the grant at no cost to me. They were super nice and took great care of me. I highly recommend here for your dental needs. Always check to see if you qualify for grants."
