"Everything very clean and well kept. Historic cemetery. I was very moved by the tomb with part of it looking at the tombstone probably of its owner with a statue of a dog. As an animal lover, I know what it feels like to live alongside a dog"

"Acton Cemetery is beautiful, very unique. I absolutely loved seeing the burial site for Elizabeth Crockett, and the many burial sites for our Confederate Veterans."

"Contains the burial plot for Elizabeth Crockett, widow of Davy Crockett (King of the Wild Frontier). Her burial plot and monument were once an official Texas State Park, and as such, was the smallest state park in Texas. It is now Acton State Historic Site and is the smallest historic site in Texas."
