"Around Halloween me and a group, aged 30 and up went to midtown first. It was ridiculously packed and was aggravating. I’ve never been to Hop and agreed so we could get our party started. Omg I had so much fun and don’t even want to bother going to midtown anymore. The atmosphere is so fun and the jams they had on I was positive DJ was bluetoothed to my phone on my “ol’school playlist”! It was actually nice to not be bothered by any youngsters, stupidity etc. We had a blast and I can’t wait to go again!"

"First time here and did not know you had to have $5 CASH to get in, so then we were told we had to open a bar tab in order to get the $5 dollar bill…like what??? Who carries cash nowadays?? They need to get more current with the times and take credit card or Apple Pay. THEN the rude and very unfriendly girl bartender was not very nice about us closing our bar out after we got our 5 dollar bill, I am not comfortable with having my credit card out there like that, don’t trust that especially at a new place. That is my choice and option to do that, it’s not like we didn’t buy drinks after that with the same credit card, but her face told us that she prejudged us for closing out our tab, which put a bad taste in our mouth for her service. The drinks were good even though pretty small for the price, but I can live with that I suppose. The music and atmosphere was great, all ages and ethnic variations which was really nice, people dancing and having a good time. Overall, had a great time! Would like to see a better system with paying to get in and the bartender needs to have a better attitude or a better poker face and sweeter demeanor, drinks a bit too high…Did not have the food this time but will come back and give it a second chance."

"Visited for the first time this last weekend, and this will be the first of many visits, I am quite sure! Came in from Dallas with my GF; she has talked MUCH about this place, and set a great expectation that was exceeded, and we will be back for more.! Great prices on drinks! Excellent music! Diverse crowd! Fantastic lighting! Great atmosphere for some great fun!"

"Leaving the hop. A handicap man who put his truck in the care of valet service is stranded. He left his keys and truck in their care. Only to return at closing to find they have misplaced his keys. He is now here at 2am in the morning with no way home because they have lost track of his keys. Instead of asking if they can take him home to get his spare keys. They're asking if he has somebody that can get them and bring them to him. Nice, great service and I'm sure he's happy he paid for the secure valet service. Work Update. 2:52 a.m. still trying to figure out how he's going to get home. I guess on the bright they left his truck unlocked. So at least he has a place to sit while he's trying to figure a way out of his dilemma. Great service guys."
