"Used to be my 2nd favorite public course in Houston but something has changed in last year. Still a great track so that earns 4 stars but its constantly CPO with closed holes, yet full price. Its like it suddenly doesn’t drain properly. And Ive had multiple run-ins with the overly intrusive starter. Ive never brought alcohol onto the course and i understand them not allowing that and checking. Its a business. I get it. But ive had several near heat strokes golfing before (it is TX after all), so i always bring a cooler with ice blocks and waters in case i start getting woozy. I have no problem showing my cooler and explaining my health concerns. But i played one day and a marshall rolls up on the first green and starts going through my bag!! While i was putting! I was floored!! Didn’t ask or anything. And he was embarrassed to find water and ice packs only. Rubbed me very wrong. I wanted to go rummage through his house. But thats the vibe out there over past year."
"Course is decent though they seem like they are cart path only for half the year. They shortened the course and still charge full price after the rates went up as well and because they live in an area where there is no more courses around they can overcharge without competition. Consider taking that overcharged money and investing in a better drainage system. Also, they change the same higher price regardless if you use a cart or not. As for the range: wish they allowed for hitting off the real grass for a couple dollar up-charge. Employees are friendly and helpful"
"The nice thing about playing here is that you will see that they actually care about the maintaining of the course. I am not a big fan about them moving the tee boxes to a par 3, but I do understand that they need to keep the greens and fairways nice and dry after all the rain we have had. I would recommend this course as one of my favorites. I am hoping to become a member soon."

"Great place for a fundraiser or for a round of golf. It is a beautiful, well-kept golf course with lots of amenities. As mentioned, it is a great place to hold an event of any kind. There is plenty of parking and a large banquet room as well."
