"took my car here a few months ago and it took over 7 months all they did was the starter they Took it to a different shop without even asking and costed a lot more had to pay for fees when i didn’t know where my car was even..not a big deal but he said he was gonna charge me which he didn’t because they knew it was ILLEGAL TO TOW with out permission. I’m just going to someone else only reason I went to these guys is because they’re close worst experience ever they can’t tell you what’s going on with you’re car let alone where he’s taking it just very disappointing I normally don’t leave reviews but am fed.. once you go to get you’re vehicle they’ll charge more saying it needed this blah blah… just had to rant as I will never go to them again even if they’re the last people just unfortunate because I’ve used them for a while and noticed a few things different but what they say is true stay away.. he didn’t change parts that he charged for… WILL NEVER GO HERE guy is a scam"

"Spent $2700 dollars to have vehicle fixed and when I picked it up the vehicle was not running properly. Had me come back twice to have vehicle scanned and always had an excuse that it couldn't be done at that time. My truck is how I make a living, I paid him to fix my vehicle and it is still not running. Terrible service!!!!!"

"After A Anchor replaced my head gaskets and some other work, I took my truck to get it inspected. It began to over heat while testing because the mechanic from A Anchor forgot to put my radiator fan back on! Also discovered during the inspection was that the replaced a.c. compressor ( I agreed with the mechanic at Anchor to put a used one in to save me money. The original compressor's pulley was locked up) He failed to tell me that the replacement compressor was for a different year truck and the lines didn't match therefore were not hooked up! After taking my truck back to Anchor and showing him the missing fan and incorrect compressor along with threatening litigation, he said he would look in his shop for it and order a new compressor. The next day he called and said he found the fan behind something in the back of his shop and said "I don't know what to say about that." The next day I took my truck to him to have my fan put back on. After picking my truck up after he put my fan back on, on the way home I discovered that my dashboard was shattered on the passenger side by the vent. I took my truck back to him when the new compressor arrived only because the free labor and brand new compressor were, at very least, owed to me. If I could have gotten the compressor put on elsewhere I would have but I was tight on money and had no other choice but to. I will NEVER take my truck to him again and warn anyone who may be looking for a shop to do work on their vehicle. I didn't mention the shattered dashboard to him. I was too lenient with him about this whole ordeal but wanted to be done with it and it's just a lesson learned for me. I rated A Anchor one star only because there is no lower rating option on the review. They should feel fortunate that they got this one off on me without being sued!"
