"Do not buy a policy with this company. The catch is that is "affordable", but you will regret it. For 15 years I have them. I hail storm hit the area were I live. All my neighbors with other companies got their roofs repaired, and this guys have a bunch of adjusters already trained to excuse any kind of nonsense to do not repair anything in your home. I am planning to fill a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and the Office of the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division."

"Worst insurance when it comes to claims. Not helpful at all. I give zero stars I’ve been customer with them for a while and this time making a claim was the most difficult no one was helpful. They made no sense on claiming food that goes bad due to a loss of power. Worst insurance ever!"

"I wish I could give ZERO RATING.. I strongly recommend everyone to get out of this insurance asap.. we had a water Damage in our house when we are out of town and they declined the claim saying there is mold and their policy don’t cover claim if mold is present. They closed the claim and not willing to look at plumber report as well. They are simply saying it’s unfortunate that we are out of town when the leak happened and since we didn’t report on the same day they declined. How would anyone know when someone is out of town. As per policy I agree they don’t cover for mold but they are not covering for water damage as well. Please rethink before anyone signup for insurance! I am updating the review as am not able to respond to the western mutual comments below, Field adjuster had sent me the document and spoke to me saying this is water loss and shared me the estimate which says type of damage is sudden water loss and it should be approved. I have a proof of that document and also I have a proof of plumber report saying it’s a water loos because of large crack in the pipe. I have all the proofs I have to support my arguments."

"Had water damage I filed a claim on in May, two months later I’m still waiting for it to be resolved meanwhile my house is torn up. They have zero sense of urgency and their communication is terrible. I’ve been with them since 2010 and this is the first claim I’ve had to file. Will definitely not be renewing my policy."

"Horrible! They are so difficult to get ahold of and get any type of information. I haven’t had any luck with them approving a few claims I had on my roof. Both times they sent out their adjusters and both times I was always told the same thing! “My repairs needed don’t exceed my deductible”! Or that there’s not enough damage!! I don’t know what it’s going to take for me to get them to be visual of the repairs needed and stop giving me the run around! They are so quick to take someone’s money away with no issues, but when we the customers need them, they are nowhere to be found!! Definitely looking for other options if they don’t help!"
