"In May, the receptionist was too busy to process my new insurance and ushered me into my appointment. Only after I received services was I told that they thought my insurance would not cover anything. I said that I had verified with my insurance that it does. The receptionist insisted it did not. Instead of filing the claim with my insurance, she had me pay the full amount. I called insurance, verified they did cover these services, and called back to the office. Only then did they say they would try to file the claim but did not believe it would go through. The claim went through and I have not received a refund from this office of the full amount I paid. I have called and emailed 5-6 times over the past 5 months and each time I am assured by the receptionist that I am owed money and that they will mail the refund ASAP. I have yet to receive my funds and I need this money for other medical needs."
