"Quite a few years ago I was having issues w my Buick SUV, and after paying the local dealership to diagnose 3x and to fix it 3x within a 2-3 day span, I was basically told they were confused to what was causing the issue and turned me away to drive my vehicle in the exact same condition it was in before we gave them hundreds of dollars. To make matters worse, they wouldn’t even discount one of the multiple diagnostic tests they ran while trying to guess at how to fix my vehicle.. at this point I’m feeling upset and screwed over when I happened to drive by Litton’s... I decided to pull in unannounced just to see if there was someone I could talk with who might have a solution that the mechanics at the dealership were not educated on, and I was greeted right away by the owner, who patiently listened as I was trying to explain my he symptoms and the failed attempts to fix it to him. He offered to run a diagnostic test even though he seemed confident that he already knew what the solution to the problem was. He apologized letting me know that he was booked up solid and couldn’t fit me in, but wanted to make sure I knew what needed fixed. He could have sent me on my way at this point and I would’ve already been grateful for the help he provided, but he was so wonderful to take the time to call my husband (who was working out of town), and explained to him the cause of the issue, what parts he should get, and how to fix it so when my husband got home he was well prepared and able to fix it without any complications. Not only was the owner at Litton’s honest and kind, but he also didn’t charge me a dime for the diagnostic test or his advice... I will always be grateful for his time and kindness that day!"
