CVS Pharmacy

"Horrible communication on prescriptions. They know prescriptions will be on back order for months and do not tell the patient. When I questioned them about this they said they are not required to tell us ahead of time that they will not have a prescription in stock when sent from the Dr. office. Why would I have my families prescriptions filled somewhere where they would not be filled and not tell me they were not being filled. Unbelievable."

"I was just at the Dr for a bad infection. Mr Dr sent in 2 RXs, one for the infection, another for side effects should they occur. I came to pick them up and the girl wasn't terribly nice, but gave me one RX and I asked for 2. She said I had no others so I called my Dr. They insisted it was sent, they sent it again. I was now working with another Pharmacy Tech. She was super rude and short, poor demeanor and no care. This tech, whose name I don't know, had tattoos on her arm and was taller. I asked her to please stop being rude. She kept pushing some keyboard button and then said she couldn't help after my Dr whom was on the phone asked if they would take a verbal request from. She said 'nope, they need to call the pharmacy.\" I then told Dr's office to please call the pharmacy and Pharmacist, so they did. Pharmacist proceeded to advise them it was filled and already ready. The Pharmacist kindly asked me it the RX shared with her was what I needed and I confirmed it was but that the other two techs said they didn't have for me. She didn't know why and advised it had been ready. Those two techs, and a third continued the entire time the Dr and Pharmacist spoke on the call to still be rude. One, the first girl I interacted with (shorter and maybe Hispanic) even laughed. I asked her to not laugh and that I was pretty sick just needing my medicine. They kept speaking under their breath and the taller (second girl) told me to sit down and wait patiently and that it'd be at least 20 min. Turns out all 3 techs were wrong and the RX was there, filled and ready for pick up when I first asked, yet those two techs were too busy being rude and heartless to look and try to help. Seemingly too much effort for either. May find a new pharmacy after this terrible experience."

"CVS is always helpfull! If I have any problems getting a prescription done they go out of thier way to help even when they are busy! I use to go to Walgreens and that pharmacy messed up my child's prescription more than once but with CVS I have NEVER had any problems! I just wish they were open 24 hours."

"CVS has been WONDERFUL as my pharmacist. They have improved a lot over time. Even though, I had to transfer to Walgreen's due to my insurance, I will always remember the amazing customer service, respect, and care each pharmacist took the time and effort to give me great customer service. They know my name, my info, and give me a smile each time to greet me. If only my insurance would switch back. Definitely go here instead of Walgreen's. I don't know about any of the other places, but CVS is definitely good."
