"Waited 5 weeks for results of a lung biopsy never to receive a phone call from this practice with the results. We called the practice a week after the biopsy because the biopsy results were downloaded in my health chart with St. David’s and we didn’t understand them. Called the practice only to be told they didn’t have the results of the biopsy, We called the practice due to medical records being wrong marked up the records was told by Bethany the “Office Manger” that the records would be given to Dr Ram and would be updated. Also spoke to her regarding the results of the biopsy still no results, 3 weeks after the biopsy. Called today 2 weeks after the records were given to Bethany only to be told we have to make another appointment. This practice does not follow up or follow through with anything. Dr. Ram said my husband had one diagnosis and it was not documented any placed in the medical records. Diagnosis were documented that my husband had seen other physicians and had testing done that he clearly did not have. Stay away from this place. We started our journey here in December and still have no answers we are going to M D Anderson on Friday. We were told by Dr Ram M D Anderson you only go there as last hope. He evidently doesn’t know what M D Andersen does for patients."

"My experience was horrendous! The unprofessional treatment from office staff was only made worse when the office manager got on the phone. She is very interested in preach at you, talking over you and making assumptions, instead of asking how she can help and then listening while you speak. In my experience, they do not genuinely care about their "valuable patients"."

"*5 stars for my new patient consult with Dr. Ram a few days ago. I needed to be seen by a pulmonary specialist for follow up after a recent urgent care visit so I self-referred. This clinic was the only one that could get me in within a matter of days as opposed to others being booked out months/no urgent slots available. The scheduler was kind and the office manager verified my insurance on the spot. Dr. Ram was kind, listened well, efficient, and helpful to my situation, recognizing the need for me to receive prompt care due to being immunocompromised and having an acute lower respiratory infection going on 3 weeks, with no help from my pcm. His treatment plan was also prompt, getting me the care I needed, including follow up with him after a test. I am grateful to have been seen here, and recommend Dr. Ram, especially if you have an acute/urgent condition on top of multiple chronic conditions and being high-risk/immunocompromised. *1 star for the encounter I had today with reception. I was next door at St. David's for testing so afterwards I called to see if Dr. Ram's clinical report was ready and if ok to pick up a copy (I live out of town and they don't upload records to their portal). At the time of visit, all you get is a basic visit summary. I was told yes it was ready/signed and proceeded to pick it up. Reception was confused at first about why I was there, even though I clearly stated why. She then gave me a copy, I sat down to read it over and found numerous errors (several of my medications weren't listed, one of the meds listed was incorrect, sections of the report missing including incorrectly entered symptoms that were entered as "denied" even though I was/still am experiencing them. All of this information was pulled right off the new patient forms I filled out at my consult, including within my own notes I typed for the doctor, to be placed in my file that included all of my symptoms, history and updates, pertaining to my acute respiratory infection. I corrected them on the report, gave it back and asked if it could be corrected and reprinted. Again - this was info taken right off the new patient forms and entered by the Nurse/MA who checked me in and vitals. Reception didn't seem to understand that so I asked to speak with the office manager (not there, per her) so someone else talked to me (Nurse? MA?): she told me the corrections would have to go through "another new patient process" which would have to be reviewed by Dr. Ram and signed off again once corrected, he wasn't there either. I understand it being the holidays and staff gone, but she was a bit snippy about it, saying the "Nurse/MAs don't have time to enter all the necessary info (medicines, symptoms, etc...) during vitals/check-in, and can't finish afterwards while the patient is in with the provider, because it would kick the provider out of the system." So - the outcome is an incomplete and/or incorrect clinical report that the doctor has signed off on and placed in the patient's record. Only when I brought it to their attention to please correct it, did they have a problem. On that note - I first noticed incomplete and wrong information the night before, via my patient portal, which I messaged them about. Whether a person has numerous medical conditions/medications or just one or two - it shouldn't matter. That is no excuse and unacceptable. Maybe hire an extra person(s) to do data entry, leaving the Nurses/MAs to do the patient vitals/check-ins?? I was told once it's reviewed and corrected, it will be mailed to me. Hopefully. I left upset, felt brushed off."
