"I never actually met the Doctor, and after dealing with his staff at the front desk, I never intend to give him my business. After waiting what seemed like a lifetime to get a referral from my Doctor, I was excited to finally have an appointment with a Specialist who would help me with the extremely painful issues I have with my feet. I set up the appointment 2 weeks in advance, and I went in this morning to be greeted by an receptionist who asked me my name. When I told her this and said I had an appointment at 10am, she asked if I had the same insurance. I said yes as she shuffled some papers around. She then informed me that the insurance I had said that I was "inactive", to give them a call. Nobody had the foresight to contact me about any issues with my insurance within the 2 weeks since I set up my appointment, nor did she care. When I told her I had no contact information with me about the insurance, she told me to "Google" it. She said that if I wanted, I could stay and pay cash, "It's only $60 bucks", she said. My point is, nobody cared whatsoever about me or my health issues at this office. Nobody bothered to call me beforehand, so that I might come in prepared with the right information. They could care less about my health issues, money was the paramount concern here, not my pain and suffering, not my health issues. And the cherry to top my cake on this visit was when she called out "Happy Holidays!" as I left as one final jab on my way out of the office."
