She takes my personality into account with her advice, knowing how much I don't want to be in braces. The best way I can phrase it is that she's the most human ortho I've ever met. She cares about her patients and gives really quality advice that helps speed up healing."

"If you like throwing money away Dr. Mathews and the staff are for you. They only care about making money. A 2 minute phone call as a forced check up after my spine injection which provided me no information or relief and you still charge me the same as an office visit is ridiculous. This happened twice. Ill be calling the billing department tomorrow and voice my displeasure."

"Dr. Mathews post her practice on Zocdoc . I have been using this Zdoc for years. It is convenient way to make appointments because you can book times and days that work for your schedule. Well, Dr. Mathews does not have the system set up to match her actual schedule. Twice I booked an appointment and both times I was told, that time were not available. The first time I drove all the way from San Marcos to San Antonio. The second time when I called to confirm the appointment they told me the time I reserved was not available and wanted to reschedule me for two weeks out. I think if this doctor does not want to put her actual availability on zocdoc she should remover herself from the website . It is very frustrating to be in pain, make an appointment an be told that the time you booked will not be honored. This is unprofessional and very inconsiderate to patients and potential clients."

Dr Matthews is terrific, always takes time to answer questions and just is a really nice person! I highly recommend this office and provider. Oh and Rose! who does the insurance is awesome!"
