About the Business
Elle's Deli & Bagels is a bakery and food store located at 9471 Ackman Road in Lake in the Hills, Illinois. We are proud to serve authentic water-boiled New Jersey bagels in a variety of flavors including Plain, Sesame, Everything, Asiago, Blueberry, and more. Our signature roast, "The Grind," features fair trade beans from Papua New Guinea & Colombia, roasted by Conscious Cup Coffee Roasters.
In addition to our delicious bagels and coffee, we offer a variety of specialty sandwiches including the famous Po Cubs Po Pastrami featuring Manny's Pastrami. If you don't see what you're looking for, you can always build your own sandwich.

"I am so sad to say that today I ate my last bagel sandwich from Elle’s. My last few sandwiches have been awful. The bagels have been rock hard and tasteless (I get the jalapeño and garlic so you’d expect big flavor with those. Zero. Tastes just like their plain bagel), the cheese and the bacon aren’t quality. The eggs are fine. Today’s sandwich was cold (not a hint of warmth AND THE CHEESE HADN’T EVER MELTED) and I ate it not even 5 minutes after it was made. I have been coming to Elle’s since the beginning and before that, I was a daily customer of Ira’s, her predecessor. Oh man, do I miss the quality of Ira’s bagels, cheese and bacon. Top notch. The last 3 sandwich’s from Elle’s were no better than Panera’s and Panera’s are awful. Major quality control intervention is needed."
"Oh my God this bagel shop is absolutely adorable. The bagels are outstanding in texture and flavor, the strawberry cream cheese is so soft and flavorful, and the bagel sandwiches are just outstanding. Definitely so much better than Einstein bagels and they give you more for the price too. Highly recommend!"
"This bagel shop is a hidden gem, and it is so wonderful! The staff is always so nice, and their bagels, sandwiches, and cream cheeses are all so good! Not super local to me, but my husband and I make the drive about once a month to go on the weekends. We can't get enough! Would definitely recommend."

"Honestly 5/5 starts does not do this place justice.. I wish I could give them 100 stars! Just tried it for the first time and all i can say is WOW. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. Such a nice little family owned business. Staff is the friendliest, and the bagels are delicious! Highly recommend."
