"I'm very particular about my food. I admit it! I'm a foodie. I do not eat meat, but it doesn't mean I don't like the convenience of being able to pick up food. I ordered to take out. I asked for a few tweaks on my order and got what I asked for. Everything was tasty. I will definitely be back."
"I got the beef with hot peppers dipped and it was so bland. I could look at the sandwich and see that there were peppers and seasoning but when I went to eat it there was no flavor. None! I licked the wrapper and the sandwich had less flavor. I only went here because The Patio was closed. I will never return there. The service is mediocre at best, but quintessential Chicago. This is for the Taylor Street location."

"Nice little place. The food tasted pretty good. The service is pretty fast. The waitress is very nice. The skillet was really good I had to order it without the veggies but really good. Pancakes were alright nothing to special but good."
"My wife said let's try some place and suggested Al's and what a great pick. The atmosphere is very homey and the food is delicious. The staff is very attentive and they really know all of their customers names. A wonderful place for a great breakfast."
