"New owners took over and things have gone downhill, portions have been cut almost in half, the answering service is terrible and they are using a different meat for the Mongolian beef, my used to be favorite dish, the meat used to be tender and juicy and is now stringy and chewy. Extremely disappointing as we were regulars."
"New owners, they obviously cut kitchen capacity and they can’t keep up. Quoted 25 minutes for pickup and it was 1 hour 15 minutes. Horrible! 15 people literally standing around the whole time that I waited. The line is out the door. You’ve been warned. This isn’t the same as it was, these owners have disrespected a lot of loyal customers."
"New owners took over and it’s a disaster. It pains me to write a bad review because I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always been excellent. But new owners took over recently and outsourced the phone answering service overseas. Now the service is horrendous, missing items, missing orders, a complete train wreck. They also changed the size of the food containers, cutting down on the portion size a lot, which is also disappointing. Hopefully they’ll go back to the way things were because terrible, outsourced service and skimping on portions like this will have this place out of business in six months."
"Let’s me tell you folk who doesn’t know what is Chinese food test like . There foods are terrible. They can’t even make a simple noodle test good. I don’t know how some people give them 5 stars. I wonder are they really know how to cook. Sorry for writing review that may hurt their business , but man.. we deserve better food than this. I am Asian btw."
"CTG was a throwback to the Chinese restaurants from the 80s. Good basic fare. Not a lot of fanfare or fancy decor. Eat in and carry out at low prices. Mooshu was good and the egg rolls were pretty good. Not many choices in Park Ridge but give this one a try."
