IHOP

"It was my first time at this IHOP and the experience was good until the check came. Our server was great until that point. we purchased a quesedilla appetizer that was $12.99,which was not very filled for what we spent on four small pieces. The waitress was fine and pleasant until she gave us the bill. The total matched to what we purchased to eat however when we saw the total I was a bit surprised that it was $73 and some change. She scratched out the tip line and circled 18% gratuity! I went to pay and she snatched my credit card out of my hand and said it denied multiple times. I could have tried it myself but she never gave me the opportunity. I had just gotten my paycheck so there was money there. Instead I had to drive to my bank and get cash out of the ATM. While I was out getting the money,my boyfriend called me and asked if I was on my way back. He said that she was pacing by the table acting worried that I was not going to come back. When I got back I paid at the front counter. I watched her run another customers card there and it worked fine. She then said that sometimes the hand held machine doesn't work at certain parts of the restaurant. She didn't even try to run my card at the front, which forced me to waste gas to go to my bank. At this point I was just going to leave whatever for a tip. Keep in mind the bill was $73.00 and some change, I gave her $72.00 and she had the nerve to ask me if I had another dollar. At that point I was more than happy to leave the restaurant. As good as the food & atmosphere was, I will not be going back to deal with the late night staff there."

"Horrible service from start to finish. My server took over 10 minutes to deliver 1 orange juice. With only 4 tables in total you would have expected prompt service however this was not the case. Never was I checked on during my meal and on top of that they tried charging me $6 more than my bill should have been. After calling the manager over the problem was resolved and I was on my way. Don’t expect even mediocre service here and always double check your receipt before paying. This place is sketchy beware!!"

"8/22/23 spent $58.38, My sister and I ate here, we are seniors and were treated very poorly like dogs. Our waitress came after we sat there almost 45 minutes to take our order. After we had to flag her down to take our order. Then she acted like she had an attitude and was not friendly at all. We were set by the air vents and we were freezing, And we asked to be moved she told us to move Where we want to when I asked her where was a better spot She had no answer, so we ended up getting up from the table. Moving to a different table on our own. The table we moved to was so dirty. With syrup on it, we had to clean it off. Ourselves because nobody came to us we were ready to sit down, we are seniors. We didn't get extra napkins the food was cold only my pancakes were warm, She never came to check on us. The whole time we were eating. I ordered breakfast and my sister ordered a burger and fry and a take out Order. Our waitress Patricia p gave us a bill. That's the only time we saw her after our food came. My sister ordered a lemonade and she gave her a kiddie cup. My sister wanted a refill but could not find the waitress. The bill was paid with a debit card and she told us to fill The whole Receive out because she know we're not gonna give her a tip. Then we knew it was time to go because this lady Truly had issues or a problem, So my sister went to the washroom. Who is 74 years old And I took the doggy bags to the car, then she called me and said someone came in the washroom and cut the light out on her while she was in the stall, I had to come back in to check on her to make sure she was okay and safe. I talked to someone in customer service but I have not gotten a reply back Yet on their investigation. I told them to pull the cameras. Very poor customer service. Not acceptable"

"We have very lovely server today, young lady with great attitude and smile,she's working there for a 3 months. Food was yummy and hot like always. Very recommended"

"Food was good, not great but better than I expected, I had the steak omlette which was delicious, pancakes were also very good, poured blueberry syrup on then. My son had the chicken fried steak which was not bad but not great either, service was excellent waitress stopped to check on us several times will be going back"
