"We remember enjoying Edwardo's when it was in this location, so we had hopes that we would enjoy this new place here. We agreed to order and pick up two pizzas on our way to a friend's house, both 14", one thin and the other pan (planning ahead for leftovers). We paid $55. Neither had enough toppings, especially the pan pizza, which had a thick, doughy crust instead. I was disappointed not to see more interesting toppings on the menu: red bell peppers or artichokes, for instance. We wanted sausage on the pan pizza, and I noticed that the menu offered either Italian or regular sausage (we don't like those little balls some places use). But I couldn't tell one from the other using the online ordering system. The online ordering system refuses to accept an order before the place opens, which defeats part of the purpose, and it was unclear whether that would be at 10:00 or 11:00. The guy that answered the phone at 10:00 told me to call at 11:00. So I placed the order by phone at 11:00. We were late picking them up (our bad), and we were disappointed that it seemed they hadn't made an effort to keep them warm (their bad). So we ended up eating essentially cold, leftover pizzas. The Italian sausage that we could find was chopped up little pieces that were only in every third or fourth bite, tended to fall off, and could hardly be tasted. The amount of mushrooms and olives was skimpy too, and there was so little sauce that I ended up putting spaghetti sauce on the leftovers. It was more like eating bread sticks, especially the huge edge crust. The pizzas glued themselves to the cardboard inside the box. I don't mind the absence of PFAs on the cardboard that might have prevented this, but maybe plain old wax paper would have. I also noticed that the toppings slid off the thin crust - isn't there a way to make a pizza that holds its toppings? Finally, the pan pizza came with a stack of about 6 (!) of those avoid-the-Noid pieces of plastic stacked in the middle. Better technology there (how about a tall ring of uncooked sweet pepper) would introduce less plastic into our food and be lighter on the planet too. The place serves hard ice cream at robber-baron prices, and the dining room I saw looked spartan. So just what did the franchisees get for the fee they paid to Antioch Pizza? We won't be going back."

"This was my first visit to Antioch Pizza, Libertyville and I will say that I was completely satisfied. The pizza was very tasteful. The service was friendly. I placed a take out order; however, when I walked in, the restaurant was very clean and welcoming. Than you for coming to Libertyville."

"We both loved our meals. Very fresh and tasty. The pizza of the day was delicious, the Italian beef on garlic bread was outstanding, the fries were perfectly crispy. We then had ice cream! They had unique flavors! We will be back to try them all"

"Such high hopes for this location! I have heard such good things about Antioch Pizza. Our office in the plaza was excited about having a new option for lunch! We have been frequenting quite a a bit to try everything and myself have ordered with my family. The staff is always friendly. However I always seem to have an issue with anything that’s not a lunch special. I ordered the first Friday night dinner for my family and my wing order was wrong. They refunded me. Another instance my fiance went in to order, waited, got our food and got home and they missed a whole slice of pizza from our order. My co worker ordered the chicken sandwich special and was missing fries. We had a VP visit our office yesterday so my boss got lunch. She ordered early and said she wanted it ready by 11:30am, when she grabbed it, it was lukewarm, not sure when they made it or how long it was sitting there. I grabbed some salad, there was a hair in it. Really hope they work out the kinks as it’s such a convenient location."

"I noticed that Antioch pizza was opening in Libertyville. I dropped my car off for repair work across from Antioch Pizza. I noticed on the Antioch pizza window that they sell pizza by the slice. So I went on over there and got their special, two slices of any kind of pizza, thin crust, deep dish, stuffed, and a large drink. I took it home and I was only able to finish the deep dish slice because it was pretty large. The taste was delicious, the ingredients were fresh, I loved everything about it. Antioch Pizza is going to be my go-to pizza place as of now. I wish you guys the best of luck and hope you're very busy. If you live in Libertyville area, give Antioch pizza a call or stop by and get the two-piece special, seven bucks for two large slices and a drink you can't beat it and it allows you to taste their product. Very good!"
