"Mixed grilled platter and fish platter were great. Shawarma was a bit overcooked. I believe they have the same owner as Albawadi grill so Mediterranean food is great. Overall great experience. We will be going back."

"Great Atmosphere and food! Service was a joke, we had to wait for taking orders and no one cared to look at our table even though we were table of 6 with mandatory gratuity!"

"The first impression on entering the restaurant is like being in an oasis, only darker as it's indoors. Very rarely are desi restaurants tastefully decorated, and I think this one is certainly one of the very few in greater Chicago area. The staff are very friendly and courteous. There are 3 restaurants in the compound with the erstwhile tandoori restaurant and Al Badia, a Middle Eastern restaurant and the Dallah, which specializes in beverages. The online ordering process is also smooth. However, if you are ordering new dishes, then you need to know what you are getting. This time, I ordered the mixed grill platter for $29.99. There's no images on the ordering menu, and I thought it would be the usual mixed platter with all kinds of meats. However, it was like a plate from a middle Eastern restaurant with one serving of kebab, a few pieces of chicken, and another serving of meat, pita bread, rice, Hummus et al. The mutton Briyani continues to disappoint with hardly any mutton in sight of a due size, more like kheema sized pieces. The portions are huge, and they give an extra huge portion of saffron rice. The palak paneer dish seems to be losing its appeal and is less tasty than before when the restaurant was simply called Tandoori. The bhindi masala has a lot of ladyfingers head or stalk providing much needed fiber, if you know what I mean. The frontier chicken is ok, though I fairly think I have had better. Also, having just visited Sabri Nihari in Devon, I feel the food is better at Sabri Nihari, though for us, it would take a good 45-minute drive one way to Devon."

"I am thoroughly impressed at our first visit to this restaurant. It's really two restaurants and a cafe in one. Truly exceptional! The waiter was the best ever. He was so attentive and available to suggest dishes we had never tried before. I wish the photos did justice to the spectacular experience that is the food! Everything was made with such care and regard. From the fresh baked bread, the free coffee samples, the entrees and the dessert we were utterly blown away. There is richness in every single dish. Our compliments to the chef, who truly is a master along with the entire staff. This is my new favorite spot for dinner. We are blown away."

"I went during the weekend at this place was too crowded and vey busy. It was kid-friendly. I tried a few items and it was all delicious!! The desserts were amazing and with nice flavor! The service was great! We provided a feedback on the mutton chops that we ordered and they handled it in a very professional way. I would recommend this place to especially try their desserts menu as I loved them!"
