"Had a great time! Beef brisket was magnificent! The workers were welcoming we even got complimentary desserts and a good for one free sandwich since we got to talk to the staff we had a trip from 63rd and Pulaski in Chicago to here but the trip was worth it!!"
"A MUST TRY! Had the sliced brisket sandwich, with a side of coleslaw. Because this was my first time they threw in an apple cobbler type desert. The brisket was absolutely AMAZING WITH LOADS OF FLAVOR. I am so bummed I discovered this place on my last night here. The service was OUTSTANDING! The cashier went through the menu with me, and the when I picked up my order the server went over my order and sauces. I can see why this place was jammed packed. I had to get my food to go because it was crowded (which is a good problem to have). I loved the atmosphere and the support they show to American Heroes. This place was one of the best bbq joints I have eaten at. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!"
"Patriotic 'Mission BBQ' has great food, and while the Chicagoland area has very few choices for true BBQ slow smoke cooked goodness, take just one bite and any doubts will melt away. The managers often remember their regulars, and all the staff is mindful of genuinely thanking their customers. The atmosphere is military patriotic, and civilians are very welcome. A great touch also is that at noon, all Americans within an ear shot will stand for the pledge of allegiance to the American flag. The meats are tender and flavorful, the bbq sauce varieties are great, and the sides taste like home cooking. I give this food a salute."
