Frank's Chicago Shrimp House

"My favorite place for fried shrimp! I first found them working in Burbank IL when I entered the wrong door thinking I was going to order Mexican food for carryout from the restaurant next door. Instead I discovered the best fried shrimp in Chicagoland, and have purchased from 4 of their locations since I have a service business that takes me to different locations. Last night, it was approximately 10 minutes before the Hoffman Estates location closes and I called to see about the possibility of ordering a pound of their shrimp as I was in the area for other reasons. The crew went the extra mile for me on a Saturday night and filled my order I arrived at 9:59. Thanks Franks!"

"The customer service was great and food was delicious. The only thing I would suggest is getting an updated menu and put some more items on it...I guess I'm just upset because they didn't have popcorn shrimp on the menu. Either way great place to get some seafood. PS....Don't get pizza from a seafood place..lol!!.... ENJOY!!"

"Chanel is kind and provided excellent customer service. This was my very first experience with Frank's Chicago Shrimp. Prior to ordering, I had decided to ask Chanel a few questions. She answered them with professionalism and patience. I ordered a quarter pound (1/4lbs) of the Chicago fried shrimp. She then told me that it would be a few minutes and I said "awesome I'm going to step next door real quick". When I returned to the restaurant, Chanel greeted me and said "hey by the way I overcooked the shrimp by a couple of seconds however I'm cooking you another batch." I was taking aback because I did not expect that at all. Chanel went above what she was supposed to do and she was very honest. She could have easily given me the 'slightly' overcooked seafood but she didn't. And to make this even better experience she gave me both orders. As for the fried shrimp, they were delicious! Thank you Chanel."

"I ordered two pounds of catfish claims onion rings French Fries and onion rings. To start off I was not aware that all the food is cooked in the same grease. With that being said some in our home were not able to eat the food due to a shell fish allergy. I asked for a refund and the management said there was nothing that they could do. For those of us who were able to eat the food we were very dissatisfied. The catfish did not taste like catfish and it had a very fishy taste and odor. The claims tasted like they were frozen claims that came out a box. The onion rings were greasy leaving a greasy film in out mouths. We had to throw all the food in the trash because it was not edible. This was by far some of the worse fish I have ever tasted. This was a wasted 50 dollars."

"Yum!! I've been hearing so many people talk about this place, I had to try it! I got the chicago gulf shrimp and some hush puppies. Fantastic! Big suckers, nice and crispy! Thanks for the great food and friendly service!"
