"My friends and I have become regulars at Tap House for multiple reason. The initial draw was the variety of beers, both locally and nationally sourced. Josh, Amanda, and Stephanie have all be amazing servers and managers and make us feel welcome. Add on a relaxing atmosphere to gather, converse, and watch sports makes this an ideal go to for us. The menu has standard pub food offerings that are prepared well. This will be a regular stop to catch a Cubs or Bears game."

"After many months of saying that we wanted to go there, we finally went and enjoyed our time. We got the pretzel bites as an appetizer with the most delicious cheese sauce I’ve ever had…and I’ve had plenty of other pretzel bites with cheese sauce at other restaurants. Then I had the fish tacos for my entree and loved it. The colors were so vibrant, the taste was delicious and the spice level was just right. Although I did have to ask for more water because some bites were spicier than others. We liked the atmosphere and service too. Overall, I would recommend this place and go back soon."

"Nice large draft selection. Appetizers decent. Inside very loud and echo-y. Too many hard surfaces. Hostess rolled her eyes after we, knowing we three wanted to converse at normal volume, changed our minds & politely requested outside seating instead of the loud booth we stood beside, and we received the eye-roll. Star removed. They were barely 1/3 full, and we hadn't even sat down. Two dirty appetizer plates with dried food on them subtracted the other. Our outdoor server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and capable. We appreciated her. The beer-batter chicken tenders were delicious - crunchy outside and tender inside. Would also recommend those, but not sure we'll be back..."

"Service was great. Waiter was attentive and prompt with taking our order and attending to our beverage needs. The mozzarella planks were fresh and had a nice crispiness. The cheese inside was ooey and gooey. The five cheese macaroni and cheez with added chicken was fabulous. The mahi-mahi tacos with rice and beans was delicious. Great draft beer selection."

"New great addition to the Algonquin Commons area. Plenty of beer, appetizer, sandwich and burger options. They were a bit understaffed when we went in but the hostess was very nice by letting us know that before we sat down. However, I would say that the speed of service was perfectly fine. All food we ordered was great, server was friendly and the place was very clean. Burger (ordered medium) was a bit overdone but nothing to complain about. Looking forward to the next visit."
