The Velazquez family, led by Jazmine, the General Manager and Daughter of the Founder, and her sister Stephanie, the Manager, have worked hard to create a welcoming and authentic dining experience for their customers.

The Velazquez family's journey of entrepreneurship began with the owner's father, who instilled the values of hard work and dedication in his children. After immigrating to the United States in the mid-’80s, the Velazquez family found a new home in Aurora, where they have lived for over 30 years. In 2018, they fulfilled a lifelong dream by opening Taqueria Aurora, a restaurant that pays tribute to the owner's late mother and the city they love.

At Taqueria Aurora, you can enjoy a variety of traditional Mexican dishes, including tacos filled with juicy, steamed beef and served with a side of seasoned beef broth, cilantro, onion, and lime juice. They also offer meat and vegetarian options served on lettuce wraps. In addition, the restaurant features special deals throughout the week, such as $3 beer on Mondays, $6 Micheladas on Tuesdays, and $5 Margaritas on Wednesdays.
