"Out of all the places in the aurora/napervillle area, this place has the best sushi and a great staff. The young lady, that's usually there, is a star. So friendly. the cooks are killing it, always. So so soooooo good and again the best tasting and prepped sushi around the area. Other places may look a bit nicer, but they DO NOT measure up to how this place serves and tastes."

"It was okay! Found this place because it was nearby. The lady that came up to me and the gentleman making the food were friendly. We got the Momoya, Spicy Scallop, and the Shrimp Tempura rolls. We ordered 3 different rolls and 2 of them pretty much tasted the same. The raw fish on these sorta turned me off (usually don’t have a problem with it being raw). My favorite had to be the shrimp tempura. Definitely will try it again soon, and maybe dine in for a different experience."

"I've been a customer at Momoya for years. I used to live right down the block and would walk over on any given day for sushi to go or dinner at the bar. I moved from the neighborhood about 5 years ago and took my girlfriend there when we first started dating. It was her first authentic sushi experience and she fell in love with sushi from that evening on. Momoya is an independent and locally owned Japanese restaurant. The friendliness of the staff and quality of the food has been consistently excellent! I can honestly say it is the best sushi I have ever had. I've had as good, but never better. I highly recommend their specialty rolls and other specials. If you want amazing sushi in a friendly, neighborhood restaurant, Momoya is the place for you. Furthermore, I would disregard any rating under 4 stars. As I've said, I've been going there for years and have never had a negative experience. Go with the 4 and 5 star reviews and check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed!"

"A little out of the way but a decently solid restaurant! I ordered the Sashimi plate which came with a miso soup and house salad. They were nothing out of the ordinary, but the sashimi was pretty solid for the price! I would say the portions here are pretty big. You definitely get a good value, especially if you order one of the dons (tekka, sake, chiraishi, etc). They give large slices of fish! Overall would come again :)"
