"Delicious curry sauce, fresh rice, and freshly fried katsu, always the best for a quick meal and a great deal for your dollar. Despite not having the event, Katsuya was very nice and amazing to help plan catering to an event. If you're looking for large catering options for a great price, please stop by and ask, they're amazing!"

"I randomly stopped by for lunch one day and, wow, am I glad I did. I decided to go for the Chicken Katsu, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tasted great with their selection of dips (they offer a few choices). The bento box was a pleasant surprise, coming with two pieces of sushi, a salad, what I think was a seaweed salad, and one other item I can't quite remember. I also got a side of gyoza. The portion was generous, especially for lunch. This place is also a great introduction for those new to sushi, like myself. Impressed, I returned a week later and ordered another Chicken Katsu and a full roll during their $6 special."

"Customer service was fantastic the lady at the register tonight was super polite and helpful! Ordered the Spicy Salmon was surprised when I opened it when I got home and came with so much extra food which was delicious. I finished the whole tray it was so good. I can't wait to come back and try another dish my girlfriend is excited as well ! Thank you."

"The prices seem only OK, but you get SO much food and such a wide variety of food in one bento box. My pork katsu (incredibly fresh, hot, and crispy) came with multiple sauces, egg, fish cake, seaweed salad, pickled veggies, house made kimchi, salad, rice, and two big pieces of sushi. It was so good I came back the next day for the shrimp katsu. My favorite Delmar Loop restaurant I sampled during my short trip."

"I’ve ate there two times now and I think the second time was even better than the first. For a brand new restaurant on the loop, this is perfect. The pricing couldn’t be better either for how fresh everything is. The sushi tastes amazing. I love the bento box with sides of everything because I get the chance to try it all instead of just eating a sushi roll. The box is also custom and just totally aesthetic. Working across the street may be dangerous as I feel myself becoming a frequent flyer at Katsuya. If you’re thinking about trying this place… just do it. Don’t think any further or read any more reviews... and then come back and write one since it was spectacular."
