"We visited on Labor Day. It was a ghost town literally and figuratively. No one there! I’m not sure if anything ever happens here or if it’s just a fun place to stop and take pictures. It is on ranch property but is open for visits. There’s no entry fee or parking fees. There’s an outfitters/gift shop with sodas and water. There’s an ice cream shop next to the gift shop but it was closed. It’s cool to see but I wouldn’t drive out of my way (again) to stop."

"Such a cute little historic town. Went boot chasing and tried to get pics of all of them. Great ice cream. Great trip to do for a couple of hours if you are in The San Marcos or New Braunfels area. You won’t be disappointed. Lots of little rustic shops and great to go antique shopping."

"Neat stop to go for a stroll back in time. We went on a weekday around 7:30pm so shops were closed (I believe the ice cream parlor actually sells ice cream), but it was cool looking through all the shop windows at the mannequins and antique trinkets. I tried to incorporate as many dog friendly outings as possible on this trip, so my dog enjoyed the walk too."

"Pioneer Town is a pretty cool place to visit. Don't get tired of walking around it's streets. And it seems like everytime I visit, I discover something new."
