"Unfortunately the quality depends on how you are getting your food. When you are eating in the food is always been top notch. The only issue is that it takes a VERY long time and is probably not a good place to eat with small kids. I avoid going out to eat here for that reason. And unfortunately when trying to get the out the quality lacks. Extensively. Burnt ribs. Moldy salads. Any complaint is met with combative workers. Mind you this isn’t the first time we have had an issue with take out. I’ve been working in the service industry for over 10 years and I still can’t figure this place out. So in short, the food is awesome if you have a few hours to eat in, just don’t get take out here."
"We stopped to celebrate Valentine's Day one day early. The inside was nicely decorated for Valentine's Day and Mardi Gras. They a really good Rum Punch. I had the Broasted Chicken with side salad and baked potatoes. My wife had the Turkey Club Sandwich. All were very good. Our waitress was friendly and made the very good rum punch!"
"Fish fry was great. I preferred the cod but the walleye was great too. Best home made, I think, tartar sauce for dipping. Coleslaw was a slight disappointment but edible. Staff was friendly and attentive. I sat by the bar and meet some fellow patrons."
"Couldn’t recommend Cafe 20 enough, stopped by on a whim while driving to Rockford from Chicago. We had the pretzel, ravioli, and fish fry; it’s hard for a restaurant to be good at multiple different types of food but they knocked it out of the park. Service was super friendly too, and the drinks were affordable as well. If I’m ever passing by again I’ll definitely stop, this is probably the best small town restaurant I’ve ever tried."
"Great find! Wood fired pizza oven. Tried a pesto shrimp pizza that was wonderful. Extensive menu, friendly chill vibe. They made a plain hamburger for our pup- he recommends this place too!"
