"Cheap and yummy. Food is consistent at different locations. Whoever was working the counter this Sunday evening at 1635 on the Ave in Moline was fantastic. Friendly and inviting and she was hustling and working hard. I appreciate the great service!"

"Wanting to support the most local business, I ordered sandwiches for 50 people the day before the event. Was initially told we could mix 3 different sandwiches (I.e 1/3 Turkey, 1/3 ham, 1/3 Italian). We ordered a separate cheese/veggie sandwich. Right as we were setting up the event, I got a call from HH saying we could only have one sandwich style. I asked if the could just swap out turkey for ham on part of the order—NOPE—there would be a substantial up charge. That surprised me, as how hard is it to slap ham on one side of the bread and turkey on the other—especially for a rather pricey order. Ended up serving Turkey to all guests. For $180 purchase, they could’ve and should’ve been able accommodate my request. Very silly and dismissive service—AND the timing was inconvenient—I had already checked ordering off my list and had MANY other things to think about. Really unnerving to reconfigure the order when I had many other tasks to accomplish at that moment. When we served the sandwiches, the lettuce was brown and slimy—not just slightly—but A LOT SLIMEY. The onions were also past their prime and shouldn’t have been served. The bread was dry and stale. Whoever made that sandwich had poor training and poor judgment. No reasonable person would’ve sent a sandwich with subpar—actually, inedible—ingredients out. I don’t think anyone added lettuce to their sandwich. I was embarrassed to serve our guests substandard food. So much for trying to support local economy. Also, when I called—remember it was a $180 purchase—the person in charge said I need to send my complaint to corporate. Businesses that don’t empower their employees with the power to make decisions (like swapping ham for turkey or partial refund for slimy lettuce and onions and stale bread) don’t rate highly in my book. Next time I need to order for a large number of people, I will definitely not be ordering from Hungry Hobo."

"Good food! Great service! The cheese curds were a bit on the extra crispy side; but the sandwiches were really good! Try the grilled steak! We usually go to the Rock Island location, though. We wish they'd reopen in Muscatine again!!"

"My son ordered me lunch from the hungry hobo in Moline and had it delivered. First off the drink was completely wrong. I am diabetic and ordered an unsweetened tea. Got a pink lemonade. The sandwich was all bread. Only 2 slices of meat. Ordered everything on sandwich got no onions or banana peppers. I have now become a Jersey Mike fan! Their sandwiched are piled so high I can barely take a bite! Will not order from this location again. I have posted a photo of the receipt and photo of what they call a sandwich. I wish I had a picture of the sandwich from Jersey Mike's from 2 weeks ago. It was amazing!"

"My favorite sandwich place in the QC. The only downside is the lack of customization. It's getting better with online ordering, though. Their chili is great. Their bread stays soft in the fridge and their ingredients are always fresh. Their cheese fries are fantastic. The last time we ordered it was "
