"My husband and I decided to check this resturant out. He ordered the Ruben Sandwich and I ordered the Patty Melt. I also ordered a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich to go. My husband Ruben was not a Ruben but some chop beef on Rye Bread. No saurekraut, minimal sauce. My patty melt was a thick burger on Rye with a slice of cheese and a few onions. Now, while the food was ok, it was the false advertisement that got us. Definitely not what we had expected. Our Philly Cheese Steak was also not what was advertised. Now the fries where good. Overall, our meal was ok, not sure if we would come back."

"I was given a gift card. I ordered via phone call 2 hours before I needed my order. When I walked in to pick it up I was greeted, given my order and I was out the door. The food was hot and fresh. I got a cheeseburger and fries and it was very good. My first experience with this business was several months ago and it wasn't very good at all.....however it seems they have turned their business strategies around for the better. I wouldn't mind ordering more frequently for work lunches when I'm in a pinch."

"This is a hidden gem in Carlinville. They weren’t expecting 10+ people, but they handled us well. The view of the golf course we nice. The food was good. I had the beef taco salad and chef salad. Nice size portions. Speaking of large portions, you should try the hamburgers. They are huge! If I’m back here I will definitely stop in."

"Decided to try another local place. Located in an older building, it's well kept with a nice relaxing cabin type interior. Waitress was very nice. We went with the nightly special which was spaghetti, salad and garlic bread $11.00. Ordered a side of onion tanglers at $2.50 as seen on the menu. (Warning!!! read the entire menu because we were charged $10 for the onion tanglers.) Salad arrived 1st. Nice salad fresh & crisp. Onion tanglers brought out, not bad but not crisp and they were greasy. Spaghetti & garlic bread arrives. 1st thought is where the sauce? Pasta covered in a meat base. Neither of us cared for the flavoring, meat was super sweet, no tomato flavor. Wife ate the noodles and pushed meat off to the side as it was too sugary for her. It was an OK however I doubt either of us would come back. I'll drive to another town 1st to try another place."
