"We're giving this Circle K a one-star because we can't give it a -20. My husband and I stopped over the weekend, Saturday afternoon around 2, May 13th the day before Mother's Day. We wanted some water, got in line, and gave the guy a $50 bill because that's all we had. He gave us change...all in $5 bills. My husband politely asked him if that was all the change he had, questioning whether or not he had larger bills to make change with. The guy behind the counter picks up the money tray, pulls it out of the cash register, tilted it up toward my husband and says, " See for yourself" and proceeded to slam the cash drawer back into the register and slam the drawer. He never thanked us for our purchase, he never gave us a receipt, and my husband and I by this time were pretty shocked! My husband commented on the poor customer service and asked who the manager was. The guy said the manager's name is Diane and walked away. As soon as we left the store we got online and found the number to Circle K and called in the incident leaving our name and number for a call back. We're not shocked that we never received a call back. So I'm doing the next best thing, I'm letting everybody I know in St. Charles not to patronize this particular Circle K. They're rude and they don't deserve our hard-earned money."
