"No parking- even for paying tenants. Unless you decide to pay for the extortion fees for "reserved" parking spots. UPDATE: Laura, the property manager actually called me and was not aware how bad the situation had gotten. She stated that she will be working with the owners and see if there is room to eliminate some of the unused reserved spots. UPDATE 2/27/24: There's no improvement."

"When we first moved in they gave us the wrong apartment and we had issues. After moving out the elevators were out of order and we had to use the stairs to move heavy items and big furniture. It was a hassle because the elevators had been broken for a while and nothing was fixed. Becarefull it can be a pain at times. It took us 16 hours to move everything from the apartment. The elevators always seems to be an issue here and no fix insight."

"I had an exceptional experience with Isabel Cooper while exploring apartments at Viridian Design District. Her professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail made the process seamless. The apartments she showed were stunning, and she provided valuable insights, making it easy to envision living there. Overall, Isabel's dedication and friendly demeanor deserve a 5-star rating. I highly recommend her for anyone searching for a top-notch real estate experience."

"After living here for three years, I'm moving out. The tipping point was the lack of compensation for overpaying my electricity bills, which ultimately resulted from their faulty AC unit. It took an entire year for them to replace the AC unit and resolve the issue. Since June, I've been patiently waiting for someone to acknowledge my emails with proof that now during the hottest months, my AC operated at reduced capacity, resulting in smaller bills compared to previous year. When we first moved in my bills never exceeded $300 when it was the hottest outside. However, over the past year, my bills consistently reached at least $400. During this period, I submitted approximately ten maintenance requests concerning my malfunctioning AC unit, enduring a year-long ordeal of residing in inhumane conditions. With temperatures in the high 90s, my AC wouldn't cool below 78 degrees even with the AC set at 70. My AC unit was running 24/7. This situation became borderline unsafe, especially with a newborn and my pets in the apartment, as the external temperatures continued to rise. I eventually had to purchase my own portable AC unit, as the management couldn't provide one due to AC issues in other units, or provide other options, despite our contract requiring them to do so. To my disappointment, they have also refused to compensate me for this additional expense as well.

Apart from my personal issues with the apartment, there is a list of problems, as mentioned in other reviews, highlighting the incompetence of the apartment management and the behavior of some residents you'll be sharing the community with: 1. This is a dog-friendly community, but some residents interpret this as an excuse to not leash their dogs. My dog has been charged by a dog the size of my boot because they weren't leashed and saw my 60lbs bear of a dog as a threat. I have a one year old that the dog could also see as a threat so I cannot enjoy a moment outside without worrying for my child’s safety. These same people do not pick up after their pets. I dealt with dog poop and urine greeting me every time I stepped outside my front door because my apartment is next to a stairwell. The hallways are carpeted and they get cleaned once a week so the stench in this heat is real and lasts even after cleaning. This was brought to managements attention but nothing was done because all solutions cost money. The problem only stopped when I installed a ring camera, yet another expense I had to bear for a sanitary living environment. 2. The walls are paper. I hear my upstairs neighbors dog scratching and the thumping is LOUD through the day and night. I hear my upstairs neighbors banging (go you!) and all I can do is cheer them on. Anyone around you playing loud music, you're now listening to it. Someone smoking? You smell it, smell like it, it's everywhere. Someone cooking something strong? Pray it's not fish. 3. Be prepared for your clothes to smell like dirty water. According to maintenance, they don't intend to address this issue. Regardless of whether you wash with hot or cold water, your clothes will smell like sewage. You have to run a cycle or two to get rid of the smell, resulting in additional water and electricity costs because they refuse to fix the problem on their end. 4. The management has changed at least five times since I moved here, and they do not transfer information from one management team to another. Consequently, if you had issues documented by previous management, the new team will not honor them. I'm still waiting for a promised carpet cleaning after months of maintenance personnel walking in their shoes through my carpeted bedrooms. I'm also waiting for the installation of window mesh, which was promised but never delivered. The units do not come with a mesh covering so this means that if you have pets or children, you can't open your windows to enjoy the Houston humidity without worry. Don't be me. Trust the reviews. You can't fix this one."

"The Veridian is located just north of the galleria area and a little bit outside the heights. As a moving company located in SW Houston, we would love servicing this complex on a continuous bases. For us, moving our client in was no problem at all as parking and walkway to the apartment was unencumbered by obstacles and people traffic. It was quiet and quaint for a Saturday afternoon as Melanie was doing tours of the apartment and gave our guys a warm hello along with the client. The client expressed how gracious the leasing agent Bridgette, was toward them and mentioned how they too were on a tour. The rooms were suitable for furniture and the apartment was in what one could perceive as "new" condition. Old Katy road is right next to a major freeway and as soon as we were done at the complex we were already on the main roads seeking our next location."
