"Great place for a hearty lunch! Went to grab a bite and had the meatloaf. My date had the bbq chicken salad. What a meal! Exactly the kind of comfort food I was hoping for. Generous portions for the price, too. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!"
"What a pleasant surprise. First visit and I'm very impressed. Great food for the price. We had the fried pickle spears and they were super tasty. The meatloaf was delicious and a very nice presentation for a bar. The fish and chips was also very tasty and the cole slaw was one of the better ones I've had in the QC. Our server Anthony was excellent and attentive. We're coming back for sure. I've been back many times and this place continues to impress me. This visit there was a pork shank street taco appetizer. I've attached a picture. It's absolutely delicious."
"I had to wait a little bit to be seated since there was an event at the Mark but despite the traffic and the place being absolutely packed, the waitresses did an excellent job in keeping everything moving. My burger and garlic fries were incredibly delicious. Prices were fair, portions were plentiful, and service was great. I'll be recommending the River House to friends and family and can't wait to try other items."
"Super cute downtown area, old buildings, easy walkways. Really tasty food. He had the brisket. I had the BBQ salad (which was enormous). We’re from Kansas City and the BBQ was pretty good. The brisket tasted of liquid smoke but the whiskey sauce was great. The chicken was grilled, covered w a good sauce. We’d eat here again. Glad we stopped!!"
"Jerry's Fish and chips are light, a large serving and fried perfectly. The place is very loud though we had to yell across the table. All in all I definitely recommend it. We went for an early dinner. It was quieter. Our waitress knew the menu and helped by making suggestions. Once again - they never disappoint!! We had a nice relaxing meal after a stressful day."
