"What an experience. Maria was sooo helpful! I did not have an appointment for a tour. After checking out the sister property to Waterside I decided to just stop in to see what they had available. Even though I had no appointment, Maria showed me the available apartments. After the showing she informed me of the process and what to do next. Everything she informed me was correct. No hidden fees, the process time for application, and etc. I decided during the process to see if they had another apt available facing toward the parking lot. She called me back and told me there was one available on with the same lay out and backsplash that I loved a lot! I switched to that unit without a problem. Maria stated the application process can take 7-10 business days, and it did exactly that. After approval I went to see if I can check out the apt I will be leasing and one of the leasing agents allowed me to without any hesitation. I am so excited to move in and become apart of this community. The grounds was not filthy and it was very quiet!"

"Been living here for a year thank god my lease is up the community its self is good quiet not many problems besides having 2 car break ins while I was here and no security for as much rent is paid. The gate only works at its convenience you never know when you will need the code go enter, the apartment itself was spacious but the worst part is the ROACH INFESTATION! Moving in the unit it had roaches I requested for extermination since it is already added go our rent well the 1st person to come out and exterminate says he couldn’t because I had a baby and they can’t exterminate with him living there. Okay so I let it go over the time the roaches became worse and worse literally coming out the base boards 3 different size roaches to the point where I don’t even allow my 1 yr old to play on the floor in kitchen or living room! I asked for weekly extermination months ago never happened they would send someone once a month after saying the initial person who came out was never supposed to say he couldn’t exterminate due to my baby living there! If you have small kids I wouldn’t recommend moving here I believe the roaches are in the wall as and base boards and the problem is internal in these buildings!"

"I recently just moved out and the apartment was above average. They do respond to maintenance requests and have an overall good staff. The view of the lake was great from my apartment. Parking in the front is minimal. if you get an apartment there and if you come home late at night you won't have a spot. As for as the apartment goes it looks nice on the interior. I was supposed to move in a different apartment but somehow things got messed up and I had to move in an apartment that wasn't as new, and they didn't have my washer/dryer ready but they eventually got it in. The appliances were somewhat modern, and my apartment didn't come with a microwave. I had to buy one. I kept a clean space, but the roaches were AWFUL. No matter how clean I kept it they always came back, and pest control didn't help either. When I moved out a couple days ago, I cleaned the whole apartment to get my deposit back. They told me I left "stains" in the carpet. Mind you, I never spilled anything. They said the stains were from the furniture. That makes ZERO sense. They said they left imprints, so I had to pay for that. So I didn't get my deposit back and they said I owe them on top of the $250 that I lost, smh. Overall the apartment is just ok. It's still a 20-30 min hike into the city, depending on traffic. The roaches are bad. The lake is cool, but it's not the greatest place, not the worst. The gym is next to nothing. The gates work sometimes and sometimes they don't. A lot of the time they just stay open. Also, residents will leave trash instead of throwing it into the bin, so that can be an eye sore. The staff is good but the whole carpet/deposit situation really blew my mind. If you stay here, you won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away. 6.8/10"

"The Staff is amazing! I loved coming home to the lake view. Which is rare for Houston. The interior of the apartment is very modern. Great interior. Overall this has been my favorite apartment complex that I have lived in. Thanks to all the staff at Waterside apartment. Y’all are the best."
