"I have lived here for the past 2 years. Came from midtown. Work at the med center. Perks being that I can walk to work. There are also many honest people living here who work at the med center as well. Overall, it has been great and safe. Let me just start by saying that the property is beautiful and modern. The view of the med center and Hermann Park is fantastic. We searched around for a while and settled here after a friend's recommendation. The major deciding factor was proximity to work, building quality, and safety. The new management has been improving the place gradually. Of note, they've digitized the access into the building, garage, and elevator via a phone app, they've renovated the common area, gym, and entrance. There has not been any recent vandalism or thefts (that I know of) in the parking lot following the installation of the garage gates. If the gates are broken, they get a security officer there 24/7 until it is fixed. They also offer charging for electric vehicles in the garage at a price. The gym is nice and new. There is also a bike storage room and path to the bayou directly out the back. The overall construction of the building is very good. Concrete foundation and layout. Noise is not an issue at all. The property management team is very responsive. Bailey in particular is fantastic and quick. The front desk team does their best at recognizing the tenants by name, which is nice. Communication via email about what's happening in the building has been great between management and tenants. A highlight has been that maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. The service team is fantastic, knowledgeable, and quick. There is a dedicated parcel pending locker system for delivery of packages and if it is full, they will have the delivery person place the package in front of your door. Security between tenants is also good, with each tenant only being able to access their own floor via elevator. Criticisms of the property: the garage transponder being out of commission for weeks (which is set to be fixed soon), the occasional smell of weed in the elevators. If your neighbor smokes in their apartment, you will inevitably smell it in one of your rooms given the connected ventilation setup. In regards to ventilation, using the kitchen vent (when cooking) will lead the smell to your bathroom. We've dealt with this by having to open the balcony door. Windows cannot be opened. There is dog poop all over the place outside given the inconsiderate tenants not picking up (management even provides bags and trash cans on the premises and a dedicated dog park). When the mail person comes in the late afternoon (one of the most inconvenient times when people are coming home from work (around 5-6pm) they block you from picking up your packages. There are short term rentals (Airbnb) which has it's pros and cons, but can be a security problem depending on renter. Pros being that it is an accessible place for visiting friends and relatives, or patients undergoing treatment at the med center. All in all, I'm happy being a tenant here and would indeed recommend it to others. Management has been friendly, receptive, and is continuously striving for improvement of the property. If only all tenants staying here were to be considerate of others, this would be an almost ideal place to live."

"We have been living here for 2 months and it's been a very good experience so far. We are satisfied with the; - Cleanliness of the entire apartment complex. I see housekeeping staff cleaning on a daily basis . - Responsiveness of maintenance staff. All our maintenance requests were attended in a timely basis. - Friendliness of management, leasing staff, and front desk. They treat us as a family and sincerely willing to help anytime we have questions or concerns . Alberto Ramis is very helpful to us from the start since we toured the property, before and during leasing process, move in ,and until now. The rest of management and staff are also willing and sincere to help. - Timeliness of communication of management to tenants regarding building maintenance updates , emergency outages, events or any other info that tenants need to know is being done. -Facility and tenant living improvement. Management is implementing improvement such as guest parking enforcement, and repairing chronic parking garage door issue. - Amenities; we love the infinity pool, the gym, the common areas, remote work area pods, and pet facility. - Location; walking distance to the VA Medical Center , Hermann Park trail access, the new Hermann park dog park, and the public golf course. Hope that management will keep up the good work maintaining and will always be gathering feedback and looking to improve amenities and tenant experience, and hosts more community events in the future. Overall, we have a good living experience here so far and we highly recommend Vantage Med Center to anyone looking for a place to live in the Houston Medical Center and the surrounding areas."

"The Vantage Med Center High Residences is possibly one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in Houston. While I travel here monthly for business, this trip was focused on a family member’s evaluation at MD Anderson. The location is within walking distance to the TX Medical Center and no more than a 3 minute drive from MD Anderson. I leased an Air BNB in the complex, and the apartment was as nice as any 5-star hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The lobby staff is always willing to assist and I can’t say enough positive things about our experience with our Air BNB host. This place is one of a kind in my opinion!"
