Grove East Apartments

"I hate having to resort to this, but I was a resident at this complex from 07/2021-09/2023 and overall the experience was subpar for the monthly rent price. Cars were broken into and wheels were being stolen due to the gate being broken the entire length of my stay. The office never answers the phone and seemed as if they kept decreasing office hours. The management changed multiple times to where it felt like every month there was new management. The problem is the complex is claiming that they did not receive my notice to vacate which could possibly be true due to the management switch right before my move out date, but it was submitted well in advance. The charge for the 60 Day Notice Period is $2,291.80 which I do not owe because it was already submitted in person and by email. I was also charged $462.08 for a carpet stain that was labeled as Pet Damage/Carpet Replacement, I never had a pet and the stain was only visible underneath the carpet so upon move-in make sure they pull up the carpet so you will know the condition of it before living there....... All this to say that the only appeal to living in the complex is the accessibility to beltway 8 and the floor plan layouts."

"Love the apartments in general, but the application process seemed to be smooth at first, but our leasing agent wasn't helpful at all. We paid the $285 look & lease, read the resident selection criteria, submitted the required documents only to be told "oh I thought or I assumed" She seemed helpful on our first visit but wasn't upfront abt some things that needed to be discussed on both of our visits in person. Customer service, professionalism was below average."

"Selah was absolutely amazing to work with! She had a good vibe and a bright smile as soon as tour started which is already a good sign! The one bedroom wasn’t my style but that two bedroom!!! Super spacious and to d-i-e for, i can’t wait to call this place my home ❣️"

"Giving a 4 Star review based on my experience. I initially left a one star review. I contacted the email included in the response and they were willing to work with me the best they could. I always appreciate when businesses try to rectify consumer/ customer concerns. I ultimately decided not to lease here and the reason being the unit I was shown wasn’t as clean as I would have liked and I think the leasing agent mistakenly told me the unit was move in ready. I’d like to think they’d take more pride in making sure units were as clean as possible for move ins. Either which way, I just moved from an RPM managed complex and I have no problems with them. Their systems worked and anytime I had an issue or concern it was resolved almost immediately. I’d recommend at least touring the property if you’re interested."

"Nubia Martin was incredibly helpful with my transition into Grove East. I have had snags in transitions in the past, especially with previous apartments along West Lake Houston. Nubia was very attentive and communicative. She made sure I had all necessary information and continuously checked up on my application process. I look forward to my time in Grove East Apartments.
