"If I could put 0 stars, I would. Upon applying, me and my sister were offered a 2 bedroom, with washer and dryer in unit, "recently renovated" and clean amenities. This was a lie. We were offered assigned parking spaces which never happened. The refrigerator had a broken shelf, broken door, missing a shelf in the freezer and the dishwasher was also broken. All were reported and nothing happened. There is NO Security, as the electric gates rarely work. They either are stuck open, or completely closed and never open at all. Even when they were working, people would still walk around them and the wall that separates the gate from the sidewalk. We also were told there was a security guard, which was NEVER in Phase 2 premisis. The walk in gate, can be opened from the outside, by simply sticking ones hand in. Various vehicles were stolen from the property, and those residents were told the Cameras DO NOT WORK. They lie! The basketball court and racquetball courts were closed, and converted to storage. There is NO activities or any form of amenities available in phase 2. There is a pool, which is always closed, dirty, and also has holes in the bottom of it, holes along the side walls. When the maintenance people would leave the pool to fill up, the water overflows and spills under the concrete. This water then would flood the walkway to the point where you cannot walk through it. There have been multiple occasions where the pool is NOT CLEANED PROPERLY, causing the water to turn a dark green color. Frogs started coming out of the pool, and you will see Cats and the birds eating the frogs. Don't get me started on the stench. The paths are full of mold and mud. They are also unlevel, not properly aligned and broken. The dirt from the dog Park pooled, so when it rains, you are walking through mud. The laundry room has machines that are so antique, they barely work 90% of the time. Not just that, your clothes will get stolen from those machines. They supposedly brought in new machines. Which is not true. They just fix them, and attached a NFC reader so you Have To pay with your phone. Building 27 has the "foundation" exposed. And I put quotation marks because it turns out, the buildings are standing on blocks. Nothing else. The apartment started to crack all around the roof line and walls. If you clock closely, you will see the layers of paint, covering these cracks. Speaking of paint, the bathtubs have multiple layers of paint on them. The bathroom sinks are rotted out as well. There is a roach and rat infestation. Previous managers have sent out emails saying to NOT feed the stray cats however, their own cleaning ladies feed the animals. They also have said they will fine residents who do NOT clean up after their dogs, which has NOT happened. The lampposts that are "supposed" to provide lighting for the area don't work. The one in front of building 30 has fallen twice in the 2 years I was there. Whenever I had to go to the office, I was ALWAYS told that I could not do anything because I "was not in the contract", but then the employees would get an attitude whenever I would call them out on their lies about that. One lady, a Ms. Heidy had the audacity to mumble a comment in Spanish, then got bothered when I replied back to her in Spanish. The garbage cans are always full. We have spent 2 weeks without trash being picked up. I had to go and show the pictures because they did NOT believe us. They also have a No Big Dog Policy, but there are vicious pitbulls and other big dogs there. We were attacked by 2. People leave their dogs without a leash, roaming around the premises. So you will be smelling dog poop and pee almost always. Or they would come and attack your dogs, and the owners were either surprised or will not do a thing. 2714 was being worked on back in Early November. The Paint Thinner fumes spread to my apartment, causing my pregnant sister and dogs to get nauseous and have difficulty breathing. (Myself included) when I called the office, Ms. Heidy and some other dude lady said "it was impossible because"..."

"Don't waste your time with this place. Is not secured, or we'll maintained or cared for. The windows are so thin that air comes through at any time and the floor are unleveled. Appliances were broken and missing parts when we moved and nothing was done. Stray cats every where being fed by employees and residents. People leaving their own dogs loose and the fumes of renovation on other apartments comes to yours. Terrible place to live. 4 to 5 management companies in 2 yrs."

"I've lived here for 2yrs.The office staff and management team are great. I have a very nice upgraded apt and I've had no issues with it at all. It's very quiet at this property and I live by the pool..if I need something done it's did with no hesitation. I love all the resident appreciation activities they do. Chastity in management is awesome! Turtle Point is alright with me. E.Atkins"

"I have been a resident of Turtle Pointe apartments for almost four years now and I consider it home. While I certainly had issues under previous management, this newest management team is great! Pros: reasonable rent, unbeatable location, caring office team Cons: No W/D hookups in units, security (more about location than the management), no garages, pet issues (stray cats and lazy dog owners). Notice none of these are the fault of management. Most the recent complaints I have read about here on Google could have been easily solved by simply communicating properly. These apartments are definitely worth a look!"

"The apartment itself was nice, however ever since I moved here, every single time I go do laundry there is never more than 2 machines that properly work. We recently had these issues “fixed” but they’re just the same as before, if not worse. When you use the app to get a refund the only option it has is “machine wouldn’t start”, some of the driers don’t even provide heat/close properly. It is extremely difficult to get any laundry done, especially on weekends when everyone is sharing 2-3 washers and one good drier. It’s really frustrating that one of the most important amenities provided is the most neglected area. I’ve read reviews dating 3-9 months ago with the SAME issue. The app DOES NOT let you out in more than 1 refund request at a time, how was I supposed to know the machine wouldn’t start? If I paid for it AND it has nothing in the app or on the machine saying that I cannot use it, I expect it to work. The vehicle gates have a nice app that you can use but every other door for the apartment gates are either broken (ANYONE can enter the complex) or welded shut, so the parts that are convenient to residents to enter we have no access to. What is the point of paying so much if they’re not going to use the money to fix things?"
