"Had breakfast there this morning. Ham, scrambled eggs, hash browns, toast. In my advanced age I don't eat nearly as much as I used to. By the time I was half done I was full. However the food was so good I kept eating until it was all gone. The wife had a pulled pork sandwich and fries. I had a bite of hers and it was delicious also. We seldom pass through Louisiana during Izola's business hours. We will be making an effort to get there when she is open in the future."

"I should have taken photos before we started shoveling food but I honestly didn't think the food would be so good. It was a very tiny restaurant maybe 6 tables or so. We had breakfast and it was just some wholesome delicious old fashioned food. I would definitely stop here again and again. Its the kind of place that makes you feel like you are on an adventure."
