Sonic Drive-In

"Waited 20 minutes for food. Brought out food and completely wrong order. Somehow they lost our order. We waited another 15 minutes for chilli cheese tots, a burger, two corn dogs, a grilled cheese, drinks and a kids meal. Got food and grilled cheese barely any cheese on it and rest of food was small. Best they could do for reimbursement was an expired coupon for a free burger. We will never be back."

"It was a Friday evening, and we decided to swing by your local Sonic Drive-Thru to grab a quick bite to eat. We were feeling a bit hungry and thought some crispy tater tots and chicken tenders would hit the spot. As we pulled up to the order board, I could already hear the staticky voice of the employee taking your order, which added a layer of frustration to our experience. We placed the order with high hopes, eagerly anticipating the savory goodness that was about to come our way. However, things took a disappointing turn as we received your food. The tater tots, which should have been golden and delicious, were anything but. Instead, they were cold and stale, lacking that satisfying crunch and warmth that my daughter was expecting. It was like they had been sitting out for hours, losing all their appeal. But the worst part was yet to come. The chicken tenders, those crispy pieces of joy, were rock hard and seemed to have been overcooked to the point of no return. They were not just tough to chew, but nearly impossible to bite through. It was as if you had ordered a bag of pebbles instead of a delicious meal. My excitement turned into frustration and disappointment as I bit into the first chicken tender and realized it was inedible. We attempted to salvage our meal by dipping the tater tots in ketchup, hoping to mask the staleness, but it didn't do much to improve the situation. As we sat in our car, we couldn't help but wonder how Sonic had managed to serve such subpar food. It was a stark departure from the expectations we had for a quick, tasty meal. In the end, our worst Sonic experience left us with a growling stomach and a sense of regret for not choosing a different dining option that evening."

"Food was hot and tasty. It seemed that they were short staffed so it took a little bit longer to get my order taken in the drive through but it didn't take long after that to get out food"

"It took them around 20 mins to take anyone’s order. The lady who brought out our food just had it all in her arms crumpled. She was also not wearing real shoes. She was in slides and socks. She also had a negative attitude and didn’t say anything other than here’s your food. She just put it all on the edge of the table and left without a word. This used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Hannibal and I won’t be going back anytime soon."

"The people at this restaurant are incredible. The card reading system was not working, and I had no other forms of payment on my person. Rather than assigning blame to me as most restaurants would, the carhop handed me back my card and said "It's on us tonight." The manager decided to let me keep my food, and I am so utterly shocked by how kind these people are. They had no reason to do that, and yet they did."
