"Their "competitive pay" is misleading. Their goal is to spend as little as possible. This in itself is not bad, it's just they take it to the point where they will hurt their employees and tenants to save a few dollars. Their words and actions don't line up, but they'll gladly spend over a thousand dollars on "happy hours" every month for their friends and family and label them "hiring events". This is mainly to feed their ego. I highly advise the reader to not work here unless you absolutely have to. They operate on a short-sided mentality that does not care about long-term outcome of their employees. Employees are just treated as numbers. They DO NOT CARE about their employees and if you start working here, you will feel it (unless you're one of the owner's children)."

"Worst place to work! Ashford culture is all about nepotism, all about maintaining good relationships with Management ( HR & Co). Higher management all are relative with each and other. So personal like and dislike is most important here. Like Rehab head and owner are friends, CO & HR VIP are friends, Owner son and daughter also VP of the company! They will playing with you like kids! When you bring a toy for kids, they love it and playing with toy few days after one or two weeks they throwing the toy and try to buy new toy. Ashford is same like this. When you joined they showed you great support, love and care but after few months they just throw you! That’s why hire and fire is so easy here! I been worked few month for them. I gave all effort, overall property upgrades project done by successfully. When we passed all inspection I hard without any notice they fired Regional Manager. This is the actual culture here! Al though in Linked or social media they told you that they are so professional, so carrying but truth is they are most unprofessional and dishonest property that with in months they make your life hell! Please think twice join with them."

"Do not make mistake as I did, do not move to this hundred years old complex. Zero maintenance service, when you submit request for repairs they will repair that after a month even if it is emergency. 3rd: thousands of mice in every apartment, including cockroaches. 4th: such a dirty and nasty complex I never have seen in Houston. 5th: even your mailbox is not secure they have no keys. 6th: more expensive than neighborhood."

"Dear Ashford Cove Management, I trust this message finds you well. I have been a resident at Ashford Cove for an extended period, and while my initial experience in 2021 was superb, I have noticed a decline in the management's commitment to cleanliness and customer service recently. Upon signing my third lease this year, assurances were made that the peeling floor and bathtub paint issues would be promptly addressed. Regrettably, these concerns remain unattended, despite the commitments made during the leasing process. Furthermore, as a loyal tenant, I have referred numerous families and friends to reside in this property, as part of your referral program. According to the program terms, I am entitled to a $500 reward for each successful referral. Unfortunately, I have yet to receive any compensation despite it being nearly a year since the referrals were made. I kindly request your immediate attention to both the outstanding maintenance issues and the unresolved matter regarding the referral rewards. Clear communication and timely resolutions are crucial to maintaining the positive tenant experience that initially attracted me to Ashford Cove. Thank you for your prompt attention to these concerns. Sincerely,"

"I just don’t know what else to do, please don’t make the same mistake and choose to move @ashford Cove, they used to be so good but the people in the office has made it so bad, they don’t care about the residents, since I move in August I have regrets it, they didn’t have my apartment ready, gave me a 1 bedroom when I had leased a 3 bedroom they left me there for almost 5 days, of course they charged me in advance for the 3 bedroom I asked for my credit and they said they can’t, they give the apartment so bad that it was not even close to be ready, ac was not even working either, i it’s my 3rd month there I have paid rent online now I am trying to pay online and they blocked me due to a payment that was not communicated to me before I was even approved when I have emails asking this is so terrible. I went to the dice for the manager to explain she said she didn’t have time for me and I asked for a copy of where I signed that says they will block me to make payments online, she was so unprofessional didn’t even try to help me she said go pay it or pay late fees after I explained how bad has been since I moved in and no communication she said she would send me they email when she could because what she was working on her computer was more important this Nicole manager needs to be trained on how to her her residents."
