"Upon entering this establishment, I was greeted by a rude, derogatory speaking sad excuse of a human being. He said he only buys guns and gold. He then retracted that statement seconds later when I offered him something to purchase. He also offered me the information that he didn't buy garage sale items. His building is full of garage sale items. I had a gold antique Gruen watch, made by Rolex, that I had purchased at a garage sale. Also, my new fishing poles that my health is not permitting me to use. I didn't come to sell, though I came to buy. He judged me by my looks, and it's not the first time that had happened. Shows me what kind of person I'm dealing with. A bless from God I use daily."

"Last year I won an online bid on a Henry Big Boy 357 magnum lever action rifle from here. I phoned them to arrange payment and they were very straight forward. The price I bid is the price I paid, not including shipping. I’ve phoned them several times since then when looking for things and they’ve been very helpful. This past week they phoned me back about a Henry Big Boy 44 magnum lever action side gate I was looking for. I have Dan’s Pawn and Gun on speed dial. They’re terrific."

"I didn’t have a problem buying a gun here from these folks. They were very kind to me, and to my benefit they aren’t very familiar with AR parts. I saw a Bushmaster on the shelf with a very nice $100 charging handle. They sold it to me at stock price. What a deal. They also had some fairly priced new rifles, and some incredibly overpriced ones as well."

"Friendly every time I go in. I usually don't find anything I want to bring home but I'm very picky. Sometimes I do! Prices on antiques are high. Like way over retail compared to Denver where I'm from but the market here is more limited. That said, they don't always know what they have and sometimes good pieces are cheap. I bought the coolest antique stove from here as well! It just depends what you're looking for. Good selection of work boots. They are usually pretty busy. This is a very old-fashioned, small-town, unique experience kind of place. Definitely unlike anything you would find on the West Coast or big city."
