"Today, March 6, 2024 we do not have hot water again. It stopped working yesterday before the office closed and hasn't been repaired yet. We keep repeating the same cycle over and over no hot water. Today we received a notice stating we owe a balance of over $80 after we paid our rent on the 3rd. No explanation. No one should have to go through this. A company that keeps giving us fees that we do not know what they are for. Today the hot water stopped working at 11:00 a.m. Monument Property Management refused to give us residents a utility bill. Instead for the months of October and November they gave each of us a facility fee for $250 and a valet trash fee for $25. For these 2 months we paid more than we would have for our utility bill. We were forced to pay these fees because they were added to our rent. Besides these fees we are constantly dealing with no hot water. I would advise no one to come live here under these conditions. This company gave us 3 months of utility fees over $587 and expected us to pay this amount on December 1st with our rent on the same day."

"I am not one to write reviews but this place has driven me to a point where I want to everyone who is thinking about moving here to run away from this place. I can’t wait til my lease is up so I can get my family and myself out of here. I’ve had nothing but issues like no hot water for 4+ days, mold, unexplained charges on top of my rent and the list goes on. Like someone else said if you have a problem after 6 it is not their problem until they’re back in the office and even at that they still don’t fix the problem and they’re is not even an emergency maintenance number to call. If you call after hours it says the number is disconnected smh. No point in calling corporate either because all you can do is leave a voicemail and they never return your call. Right now we are going on 4 days with no hot water and they have known since day 1 and didn’t care I even told the manager that I have small children which my one year old is sick and she never responded back to so heartless. I do not recommend anyone living here it is not a livable environment especially when you have kids. If I could give -0 stars I would."

"We currently still have no hot water for the past 4 days. Called 311 to place a complaint with the city. For this has been an on going issue since I’ve moved here. Management confirms it is going to be working soon but at 6 pm it isn’t their problem any more. Until the next day when we have the same situation. Management is always changing. As The past 2 months we were charged a “facility fee” of 250 because we didn’t have a utility company for some reason and now we are hit with paying the utilities for the past two months. That average out way more then we normally use in utilities. I was billed two different amount on on 12/2, another on 12/3 and another amount on 12/4. Which didn’t reflect any decrease but instead continued to increase. Not a satisfied resident and will NOT be renewing my lease after this contract. Pipes are always busting. Work order don’t get completed, but sure do get an email saying it was completed. & no one had step foot inside my apartment."

"Still no hot water. No hot water for weeks. It comes on for one day then nothing but cold water. I have kids that go to school and it's too cold for them to shower in the mornings they can get sick. Mirta the manager is no good. She will tell you that she's going to fix things and it doesn't get it done she doesn't care. We need to come together and report them. I will not be paying rent until it gets fixed. Please lord help us."

"If you're looking to move in here please don't!! It's unethical and inhumane the way they treat their tenants here. There is no hot water, hasn't been any hot water for 2 days straight and it happens a lot. Utility bills are waaay too High they just keep getting higher and higher for no apparent reason almost $300 for a 1 br. AC has broken down atleast 5 times since I moved in. The restroom door is broken since the day I moved and hasn't been fixed. They sent their laziest maintenance guy to come fix it and he was like I need to order new hinges for the door they'll be here in 2 days and never came back it's been more than 2 months. Nobody cares tho we keep addressing these issues and the office only says they're going to fix it and nothing gets done. All existing tenants please call the 3-1-1 number and report these living conditions it is unacceptable. Winter is coming and we will be forced to shower in cold water that's not ok. Call 3-1-1 and report and hopefully the city will step in and get this fixed. We pay too much rent to be living under these conditions. Also the 5 star reviews are fake if you click on their profile you can see their reviews and they only review apartments that are owned and managed by the same company Monument don't fall for that."
