"Beautiful community, great management team. Greatest rent property I have ever lived in. If you are professional, it's a place for you. Bike/ jogging trail few steps from your apartment. City Center/ Memorial next door. Every day, coming home from work it's a blast. So architecturaly beautiful. You start relaxing here, when you enter a gate."
"I’ve been living here for almost 2 years. The maintenance here was never good, but I was always able to fix things myself, or you have to wait for at least 2 weeks to get something fixed. My apartment is leaking since Friday. I’ve called them multiple times, they come, drain the water but don’t fix the problem. I can’t use my kitchen, I can’t use my living room, my asthma and allergies are really bad right now because of all the smell. And what they do? Nothing!!!! Friday they took 3 hours to get to my apartment, only to drain the water. I don’t know how long will take to them to fix it. I can't wait to move out of this place for good!"
"My roommate and I lived here a year and moved out as soon as we could. To begin, our unit had multiple issues when we moved in (July 2022). AC not working, doors not shutting, cabinet and bath tub paint was sticky, carpet was matted, bathroom and kitchen flooring was crackling, tiles coming off the floors, mirrors discolored, low water pressure etc. When our first month of rent was due, we both paid our halves the morning of the 1st. My roommate accidentally typed her account number in wrong, and her half didn't go through. Management didn't tell us there was a payment issue until the 8th (rent due by the 5th), charged us a $140 late fee, AND placed a notice to vacate in our apartment. We quickly made the correction, paid rent, and asked if they could take the late fee off and they refused. Our apartment flooded in April 2023 due to a faulty hose under the sink, half of the apartment got soaked. Management tried to "air out" the already molding carpet and put it back. Told them it reeked of mildew, and they still said no to new carpet. Literally had to drag the property manager to my apartment and have her smell the mildew before they finally replaced the flooring. Mold started growing in/on the walls and when I told them to fix it, they just painted over it. Vendors they hired for the carpet damaged our furniture and they refused to reimburse us for damages (broke a bed frame and a brand new couch). All in all, took 2 weeks before the apartment was livable again. When I asked for some money back on rent for the time I wasn't able to live in my apartment, they refused and charged us a full months rent. Water seemed to be shut off multiple times a month for maintenance, and water quality seemed to always be an issue. Our AC unit simply did not work. We would set it to 69 and the lowest it would get is 75 on a good day. It full on stopped blowing cold air 3 times this summer (2023) and left us with out AC for days. Had to resort to a hotel cause it would reach 85+ inside. Called multiple times, and left multiple maintenance requests and they never fixed it. Maintenance stated since it was lower then 78, there was nothing they could do. Lease agreement says we need to provide 30 days notice if we intend to move out, but in tiny print they changed it to 60. I realized this and called 12 days late for the notice. Instead of just letting us leave on our original move out date, they extended our lease by 12 days, and charged us the month-to-month rate for those 12 days. (M2M rate is $400 more a month btw). Before turning in our keys for move out, I cleaned the place SPOTLESS (video proof). Vacuumed, swept, scrubbed wiped down, etc. They charged us a $40 vacuum/shampoo fee out of our deposit. Also took them over 2 months to mail us our deposit They offered us a renewal that was $100 higher then our original rate, then turned around a listed our unit for cheaper then our original rate anyways like??? Although the location is a decent area, there was still issues. Had a major domestic assault happen right out side our door (police were called), had a outdoor table stolen from us (we lived on the 3rd floor), and tires got stolen and cars broken into multiple times. Only 1 dumpster for the whole complex (no valet trash), and they often go DAYS with picking up, leaving mounds of trash everywhere. Landscaping (of course) looks great by the leasing office and the roads. Everywhere else it's dirt, tree roots, and mud. Parking lot has numerous spots where brown stagnant water would sit for weeks, making most of the prime spots unusable. The fitness room is tiny, awkward. Pros? Neighbor is decent, overall presentation is alright, pool is okay (when its open), and having access to Terry Hershey is nice if you're into that. Over all, wouldn't recommend. You're pretty much only paying for the location. I know they recently got new management (as of August 2023) which I hope can turn this place around cause this could EASILY be a great place to live if management/corporate would stop cutting corners."
"I am not even sure where to start. The ppl in the leasing office are constantly changing and majority of them are incompetent and not professional. They do not follow up on anything. The apartment complex looks decent outside in the daytime but once the sun goes down there is not really lighting and it is not safe. Maintenance is SUBPAR and that’s putting it nicely. When I first moved in the apartment was not ready! I could not believe it. The paint was messy, carpet was raggedy and not cut along the walls, doors would not lock properly, dirty, etc. Vehicles constantly towed, broken into, tires stolen. I am looking forward to my lease ending."
"I moved into Creekstone last summer hopeful that I had found a place I could call home for 3-4 years. Unfortunately, I now know that won't be possible. When I opened the door on my assigned move-in day, I was shocked at the state. There was a woman in there trying to clean with her small child sitting in the corner of the unit. She was vacuuming the carpets, which had not been professionally cleaned. She rushed out and my unit was left dirty by the previous occupant. The shower would not turn on. The floors were old and crumbling. There were missing light fixtures. The mirror was cracked. The water fixtures were peeling. The tiles were stained and cracked. I documented these things with pictures and it took about a month to get the apartment in a basic move-in-ready condition. Multiple times, painters or maintenance people tried to come into my unit without knocking. As I settled in, more and more red flags popped up. The amenities we pay an extra fee for are hardly maintained. The pool is rarely open at 10 a.m. (The pool gates have padlocks on them). The water is currently murky and gross. The gym is missing weights and has had a broken bike and treadmill that have remained broken all year. The premises is constantly littered with trash that becomes part of the landscaping. The gates will be left/stuck open for weeks at a time. We constantly get notices about stolen tires and broken car windows. There is standing water that turns putrid in multiple parking spaces/near the dumpsters. The weeds and plants growing out of the sand volleyball court, rocks, and sparse sand makes the sand courts unusable. The office communications are often difficult to read and understand because of errors. If Creekstone is your only option, insist on seeing your actual unit before signing anything. There are also about $50-80 of extra fees each month on top of rent and pet rent. Be prepared for separate drainage, sewage, trash, water, amenities, pest control, and service fees. I reached out to the Price Realty Regional Supervisor (Carrie Weaver) and the Director of Operations (Kenneth Raley) 26 business days ago, iterating the same concerns and requesting the owner’s contact information and have not received the requested information."
