"I have lived in Verano apartments for the ten years and just renewed my lease. The current manager and her team are doing excellent job. I found her very patient, understanding and professional in dealing with tenants."

"Leasing office staff is VERY unprofessional. Leasing agent is VERY rude . VERY problematic. OFFICE STAFF has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Half of the electricity in our apartment has been going off since weve moved in, we have put work orders and they refuse to resolve our issues. Dominic, says were not allowed to call them , or step into the office to assert our concerns over our apartment even though were residents and pay rent IF YOUR LOOKING FOR AN AFFORDABLE NICE APARTMENT WITH PROFFESIONALISM GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE."

"This place is horrible. Full of cockroaches. I should give zero rating instead of 1. I had a very bad experience in the complex and did not get proper help from management. One of the tenant threatened me to break my car and heat me. I informed the office, they responded me after seven days. After hearing everything they just sent a violation notice to that tenant. I asked for safety of my life but office refused to do that. Then I started looking for new apartment before finishing my lease. Office asked me to pay early termination fee and 60 days prior notice which cost around $3000. I was feeling unsafe, I am harassed by the tenant, and I need to pay my money for a safe passing from the complex. I am the victim from every angle. I sent email to the manager and even Indio Management director but they are not willing to waive my termination fee, not even providing safety. I am thinking to take legal action against this property. But if you think to move in this apartment, I will say THINK TWICE."

"I’ve only lived here since April 2023, and when I first moved in Anthony in the front office was very good about getting things done. However, since the management change everything has gotten steadily worse. Management has actually changed hands three times since I’ve moved in and none of the new property managers seem to care about their tenants at all. The complex itself is very rundown and poorly taken care of. The water in the pool in my courtyard is literally black and has been that way for the last three months. The shared laundry rooms are so disgusting I won’t use them. I’ve had no hot water for the last two days, 8/26 and 8/27. I have opened an urgent ticket and left an urgent service voicemail but have gotten no response at all. My downstairs neighbor is very loud at all hours, day and night. I’ve asked them to address it and they said they “sent him an email” but nothing at all changed. In fact many of my “neighbors” are very loud and have no respect for others even though the lease stipulates that you are not to be obnoxiously loud. I had no issues to start with roaches, pest control was here weekly. However I have started seeing them lately, so that’s a problem. Either pest control is no longer coming or one of my neighbors keeps a filthy household, possibly both. All the while management sends constant texts and emails demanding we do one thing or another while they do next to nothing for the tenants and offer no help or solutions. I pay my rent on time, usually early, keep to myself and keep my apartment very clean. I’d say I’m definitely a tenant in good standing but if things stay this way I definitely will not be renewing my lease come next April. Sadly, I really have nothing positive to say about the Verano Apartments at this time. I would definitely not recommend moving here unless you have no other choice. Hopefully things get better soon but I don’t have much faith in that."
