"GNATS AND FRUIT FLIES WAS A REALLY BIG ISSUE ALL DAY EVERYDAY because of the indoor trash chutes. These dirty flies migrate through the vents and disturb you in your clean apartment. It was very annoying. Neighbors kept complaining about it. Flies everywhere and they even manage to enter your pantry and refrigerator Now that the trash was moved outside and the trash chutes are no longer in use, the problem has been resolved. We now fully depend on the valet trash services. Hope westerly management continues to keep the trash outside."

"DO NOT MOVE HERE! Sadly, all of the bad reviews on here are very true. If it's not bad enough having to deal with thefts breaking into cars, and stealing wheels, thefts are now attempting to break into apartments as well. It's not safe here and if you have small children or you're a single female who comes home late at night it would be in your best interest to steer clear of these apartments and find a safer place to live. The residence safety here is not a concern to the Adara Community management and they have done an exceptional job making that very clear to the residence by ignoring our safety concerns. To the Adara management team: I'm not seeking your apologies or concern (more like lack of concern) from your ignorant staff. This review is an awareness for all of the people out there whose safety is important to me. So please save yourself the embarrassment of a pity response back. We are waaaaaay past safety being of any concern to the management team. You have had your chance to make a change and the reviews don't lie. It's up to the community to help those who have no clue what they would be stepping into if they moved here."

"MOLD MOLD MOLD MOLD!!!!! In efforts, to have someone pay attention to MULTIPLE REQUESTS TO BE MOVED TO A DIFFERENT UNIT. In which, the office REFUSES TO MOVE US UNTIL THEIR “INSPECTORS” SHOW UP? IN ADDITION, THERE IS AN EXACT UNIT THAT IS COMPATIBLE TO WHERE WE LIVE BUT THEY REFUSE TO MOVE US? I WAS LEFT NO OTHER CHOICE There was a constant LEAK where maintenance requests were submitted and NOTHING WAS DONE. I cannot even use the washer or dryer due to this leak!! MOLD HAS NOW GOTTEN ON MY FURNITURE!! I WILL NOT BE STAYING IN A APARTMENT WHILE DEMOLITION OCCURS TO FIX THE LEAK. I EXPECT TO LIVE IN THE CONDITIONS I SIGNED FOR IN THE BEGINNING. NOT A CONSTRUCTION ZONE 1) BREATHING MOLD AND BEING IN conditions that have mold (i.e the bedroom and other areas have MOLD I will attach pictures ) Can cause health complications- Will the WESTERLY APARTMENTS PAY FOR MEDICAL BILLS DUE TO THESE CONDITIONS? Or do I have to get my lawyers involved? :) 2) Complaints have been submitted to the following: - TX DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING & COMMUNITY AFFAIRS - HOUSTON APARTMENT ASSOCIATION -THE CITY OF HOUSING & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT -FAIR HOUSING AUTHORITY - BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU JUST AN FYI, I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO LOCAL NEWS OUTLETS AND POPULAR HOUSTON SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS TO EXPOSE THESE LIVING CONDITIONS IF SOMETHING IS NOT DONE TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION. I expect a resolution ASAP. Please take your money elsewhere, the dog park is disgusting and the parking lot is not secure. Thank you"

"Very disappointed that I have to write such a terrible review for a place I once enjoyed living. I moved here when it first opened in 2020 and it was a great experience when greystar was managing this property but that all changed when Adara communities took over. This place literally went from a 5 star community to a 1 star community mind you rent increased while living conditions decreased. I honestly wanted to like the staff but they were very incompetent at times. Security is poor, the pool was broken for nearly 6 months, bugs everywhere, power always went out, hallway carpets filthy, doors broken etc. We had many friends in the community who also watched the community change drastically. They also moved out recently due to the living conditions. What did it for me upon moving out was the same tactic they used for every other tenant who moves out. They basically want you to remodel the entire apartment not just clean it or they will keep your security deposit. They did this to me as well as 3 other tenants who moved out recently it’s quite disgusting and yes we cleaned the apartment before moving out. They will charge you for misc things and make it seem like it’s you but really they just need the money because ppl are constantly leaving. If you are looking to move here please don’t. Take your 2k+ and go purchase or rent somewhere else."

"I have lived in these apartments for about 6 months now and the office staff have been amazing with their services . ONE MAJOR CON: parking. They have so many covered parking that people are obviously not interested in paying $60/month for so the majority of people find it VERY hard to find parking . If you work late nights, this may not be the apartment for you as I had to look for parking for AN HOUR when I came home at midnight. People have to park on the sides of other cars and it is honestly horrible. I have pictures down below. This is something management needs to handle ASAP. Because if all the covered parking is not being utilized, then it should be turned into regular parking . No one should be forced to buy a parking spot. A parking spot is a necessity. Work Orders get completed within a day which is faster than some of my previous apartments. One small drawback is that you can definitely hear the people above you even if they are just walking . Guess it just depends on the type of people you are living under . But this is my honest review. Hopefully they address the parking issue , or I won’t be back next year. UPDATE: this place doesn’t feel like it was built a couple years ago and since the new ADARA management, they are honestly clueless as to what their residents go through. Disgusted with this place and the people here . Trash always everywhere. Vandalism happening in a GATED community , when the gates even work . Rent was increased and the value of the place is not worth it anymore"
