Shadowdale Oaks Apartments

"This place is a complete dump! First of all, when you drive into the complex, the parking lot is full of pot holes that will destroy the suspension on your vehicle. The entrance and exit gates do not work at all & haven't worked for years. Trash scattered all over the complex, mainly broken beer bottles and beer cans. The lights in the complex hardly ever work. Meth heads roaming the complex and stealing. Inside the units have mold, bedbugs & appliances that half-way work. Human trafficking goes on here and the management knows, maybe getting paid on the side. They only rent to illegal immigrants that are afraid to complain because management threatens them. Any American citizens that live in the complex have been there before the management that they have now. The office doesn't even have a computer! I wonder why? Must be hiding something. The city of Houston should be ashamed for allowing a place like this to exist. DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD, LOOK AT THE PHOTOS!!! THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING!!!! MAJOR EYE SORE TO THE COMMUNITY!"

"We’ve gone without AC, we have black black mold from all the leaks before , roaches, water leaks from the roof , and the building foundation is sinking into the ground. The office ignores everyone and chooses who they want to talk to, it’s severely dirty here, and parts of the building ate just falling off . It’s disgusting here I hate it ."

"Place is horrible....... maintenance is horrible they take a month or so just to go fix one simple thing. The trash dump is overloaded with trash bags all over the floor. Cockaroaches all over the apartments, we deep cleaned everyday and they don’t leave !!!! People smoking drugs everywhere. The security is a drunk drinking with drunks from the apts and the manager wont do nothing about it. The streets here have more than 50 holes. And the worse part 3 guys STOLE MY TRUCK and went to steal a gas station ... DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE HORRIBLE APARTMENTS"

"This place is absolutely horrible. It is infested with bed bugs and they refuse to do anything about it. Elena the manager told me to use a cleaning solution that is used for mopping and spray it on walls. The downstairs neighbor have had the police called on them more than 20 times for loud music at 1am-6am from different residents and he happens to be maintaince. Manager told us not to feed the dozens of stray cats so they can eat the mice they have. Water bill is getting higher and they always have it almost shut off. Barley any water running and they're charging $90. DO NOT move here"

"Horrible....the management is bad,as well as maintenance and the apt have bedbugs & roaches. When you let the managers know of such thing they acted if the were unaware and say they will take care of this thing but nothing is done....most of the apts .are invested. On another note management has family living there and you can not mess with these people...the family will complain and management will give you a warning with out hearing your side. Kids are not allowed to play outside with balls because these family feel treated they will break a window and that will be another warning and the third one is eviction....this place is the worst."
