"The person who showed me the layout was not friendly towards me and the reason I am certain of this is a couple was already in the unit with another representative and she easily made pleasant conversation with them while barely interacting with me. This place should disclose how difficult they make it to get an apartment before they make you pay the application fees."

"Brandon and Sarita were very helpful in showing my relatives a unit that they can move into. They are also very helpful on the phone for any additional questions or concerns that we may have about other units that are available. During the tour, the neighborhood felt safe and the apartment surroundings were clean and seem to be kept up well. They are undergoing renovations so some of the units are not updated yet but they were able to show us a renovated unit."

"These apartments are not operating on the up and up. They have a policy to where you must give a 60-day written notice before moving out. They gave me a notice they were increasing my rent 48 days before the deadline to sign my new lease. This is not legal and they are purposely trapping people in these lease contracts. It is also a huge rent increase, which they have never done. I have lived here for 6 years and they have new owners about 2 years ago and it’s been down ever since then.I want to also note that these apartments are not worthy of a $300 increase. For starters, rats have taken over the complex. They have underground tunnels and holes everywhere; you can feel them running underground and the ground is shaking. When I come outside they literally run across my feet. They run around the parking lots, the sidewalks, it’s difficult to take out the trash because they have the ground covered to where you can’t hardly walk. It feels like a Halloween haunted house every day, but instead of monsters, its rats. Because they are constantly popping up out of bushes running all over the ground, they swinging and sliding down poles like strippers. They are also huge from the size of a hamster to the size of cats. On top of the rats, these apartments have promised added amenities and improvements 2 years ago and they still have not done so.The bedrooms don’t have a light built into them. If you don’t bring your own lamp or source of lighting, your bedroom will be in complete darkness otherwise. Everything is old. Kitchen cabinets are old and stained. Refrigerator is old, WHITE and stained. There isn’t a microwave provided. The entire kitchen is old fashioned. The bathroom shower and tubs are old and stained and are in need of being resurfaced. The plumbing overall is horrible. Not long ago they had a sewage truck do something to the line, keep in mind, I didn’t receive an email or any notice they would be working on the line. So, they started and raw sewage starting blasting out of my toilets, out of the bathtub, out of the bathroom sinks and out of the kitchen sink. This was for almost 2 hours straight. There was no way I could block or stop it. It was splattering all over the walls and the floor. The entire place, as you can imagine smelt horrible. It took me 10 hours trying to disinfect, scrub the walls and clean things and I had to throw a lot of things away and replace them, which is coming out of my pocket. The apartment was aware and unfazed as usual. I was not offered a free cleaning service or anything. My apartment has also been flooded very badly twice. I had 4 inches of water in my apartment. So much water came in that the ceilings bust with water and water was flowing out of the light fixtures, this was for about 12 hours. They don’t have any type of after hours or Sunday emergency maintenance line. They are closed on Sunday. If you have an issue and the front office is closed you won’t be able to get any type of help or speak to anyone. You can imagine how terrifyingly scary it was to have so much water coming in for so long. I called the sister apartments to complain and get someone to finally get someone to stop the water. I had thousands of dollars worth of lost items and a large number of items that weren’t replaceable that meant a lot to me. After all of that water, I requested to get new carpet. They refused and only let it dry for a few days and replaced the padding underneath and not the actual carpet.I pay 3 trash fees every month and there is trash every all around the dumpsters and property. There is constantly some type of plumbing issue. Do not rent from any apartment that is owned by Summit Property. The office staff is nice but a lot of things are out of their hands. The new corporate owners do not care about their tenants. To add insult to injury they don’t have a washer and dryer in the unit. They want you to rent one from an outside vender for a couple hundred dollars per month, this is insanity. Every unit should come with a free washer and dryer."

"I placed a work order for my washer and they took two weeks to come and they said they fixed it but it’s still broke and doesn’t clean the clothes. They came to fix my dish washer and said it would be fine but it broke again three weeks later. I’ve never had roaches in my life but everytime I go in my kitchen or bathroom I seem to see one or two and I’m terrified. The dumpster areas look a mess and I saw a mouse several times taking out the trash. I don’t understand the point of the pest fee because it’s not taken care of.my rent went up 60 dollars and I have no idea why. The hot water used to last longer but I have to cut my showers short because it gets cold.they told me to write everything wrong with my apartment down and they would fix it but I’m still missing one eye on my stove and the cabinets doors for under the sink and I’ve been here 6 months. There’s mold growing in the bathroom and they take forever to come to do the maintenance needed."

"I moved here in April the apt was not ready. The walls were covered in dead roaches that had just been painted over. The pantry and kitchen was covered in roach poop. The windows were not secured properly, the patio door was falling apart, washer and dryer were broken and so much more. It was disgusting and it was definitely not ready for anyone to move in. Since of course I have cleaned up the place and I constantly have pest control to keep the roaches at bay. And it took time and a lot of requests and work in my part but I managed to cleaned it and make livable. Big shout out to Dorian who has been very helpful on fixing most things in my apt. Every time he service a request to maintenance he goes the extra mile to make sure things are fix properly. I appreciate that because not everyone does. I recommend the complex just know what to expect. It’s not a bad area and I think the people at the front office are working with what they have."
