"First time hubby and I ate here on a cold, rainy Saturday. We weren't expecting much but came away satisfied. I had the House Favorite omelette with fruit and two pancakes which were included with the meal. My husband had the Country fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast. My omelette was chock full of veggies and ham with American cheese. The fruit cup was filled to the brim and my pancakes were so delicious even though they were plain. Even the syrup was warmed up! My husband judges a restaurant by Country fried steak and hash browns. He said both were excellent as the hash browns were a good mix of crisp potatoes with less crisp ones. His eggs were over easy as ordered and the country fried steak was crisp on outside and moist in center with great sausage gravy! Yum! My server didn't refill my cup of Joe very often nor check on us much, but the other servers offered to refill my cup more than once, so I hope they split tips there as we gave a nice one. We hope to go back soon to try sandwiches or hamburgers or flavored pancakes! If ppl complained about bland food they should realize it might be post COVID sickness or you didn't salt your food enough. If they oversalt the food it goes to waste, just saying. I'm a food snob and this food was good!"
