Blain's Farm & Fleet Tires and Auto Service Center - Ottawa, IL

"I suppose I cannot rate service we did not get, we dropped off a tire and they could not give us an estimate of when or how long till it would be done being fixed, we ended up having to pick it back up and take it elsewhere after a day and a half, and the other place took 1 hour (and was cheaper). We first called to ask after a day and asked for the tire department, and they asked what we needed and instead of connecting us they said let me check for you, then put us on hold for over 5 minutes before we had to hang up from waiting on hold. We tried again later and got through, and they complained/vented how busy and how many tires they had to try and squeeze in between auto appointments as an excuse and seemed annoyed we asked how long till it would be done. They were helpful when picking up the not finished tire in bringing it out for us. Hopefully a better estimation system can be put in place so people can plan especially as some drive very far to shop their products and services and need some kind of idea for planning purposes. And especially during farming season when not having that tire fixed is costing money to not get field work done before it rains etc. We also called a few days before this incident asking for another tractor tire and not only did none of the area Farm & Fleets have it (we are under 2 hours driving distance to 3) but they also said they couldn't even order that size of tire, which is strange because it is not an uncommon tire. We ironically ended up being able to order it through Wal-Mart which seems silly to us. Hope for better luck next time as we overall like F&F."

"Had a great experience here there's a lot of farm home and automotive parts here and most likely if you need it it might be here and if not they can try and get it for you"

"Got my full synthetic oil change done here. Was twice as fast as the GM dealership (took around 45 minutes) price was also better than the quick lube places (price was just over $70 after taxes and fees). People were nice and they sent me a complete report via email after oil change/inspection was done which was excellent. Will definitely return."

"They have a great selection of work wear and seasonal outerwear. My favorite part of the store is their dried fruit and nut section. Get ingredients for my trail mix. Good sales when you are a Rewards member."

"Store is very clean, nice selection.. people are friendly.. However, that being said.. they tried to divide the store up in a men's and women's half.. and this presents to be a pain in the butt. I have to go to one side of the store for my chicken products and then walk all the way to the opposite end for dog food.. oh and did I mention that the shoes are in the middle next to the chainsaws?.. Organization is NOT good. And prices are some what higher then other local places."
