"I’ve lived here for about 4 months now and everyone in the office is amazingly friendly! I’ve had zero issues with the apartments or workers here. Always being greeted with a warm and friendly smile. They are always eager to help out, small or big. Corral helped us with the application and whole process, she made it quick and easy. I loved talking to her. Tons of great amenities. Pool is huge and always clean, valet trash was an amazing add in, fire pit area is really cool, as well as the very useful dog wash/park area. Overall, I’m definitely in love!"

"I am writing to express my utmost satisfaction and gratitude for the exceptional experience we have had since moving into our new apartment. After a disastrous experience in our last place in October, Opal Apartments has truly been a breath of fresh air, and I couldn't be happier with the positive change. From the moment we decided to make Opal our new home, the process has been nothing short of seamless. I would like to extend special praise to Kamila, who played a pivotal role in ensuring that our transition was smooth and stress-free. Her dedication, attention to detail, and genuine concern for our well-being made all the difference. Kamila went above and beyond to assist us with every aspect of the move, addressing our concerns promptly and ensuring that we felt comfortable and supported throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and kindness have truly set a high standard for customer service, and it's evident that she takes great pride in her work. Now that we are settled in, I can confidently say that Opal Apartments has exceeded our expectations. The apartment itself is not just a living space; it's a place we can truly call home. The amenities, the community atmosphere, and the overall quality of living make Opal Apartments a standout choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and welcoming place to reside."

"We moved to Opal on October and is needed to express how happy we are of taking this decision. Having lived in other apartments, we always had a lot of service requests because there was always something broken. In fact, since we moved here, we only had to open one service request and it was solved right away. Since the first visits to Opal, Kamila explicitly explained the rules and showed how organized the company is and what kind of clients they expect. Is a peaceful and friendly community and hope it keeps being like that because we love living here!"

"If you are planing to move to these apartments don’t after you move out they. charge you for extra things they even ask you to clean the apartment before you move out but still charge you a big amount for a cleaning fee when I moved out I left the apartment super clean am a very clean person but the amount they charged us after we moved out was ridiculous and a other thing when me and and my husband moved in our apartment the apartment was dirty the stove was greasy their was a lot of broken things around the apartment and when I told them they said they will come fix it not once did they come at all but still charged me all that after I moved out . My sister in law just moved in not to long ago either and when we helped her moved in her apartment was so dirty we had to clean it ourselves because they don’t do their job why charge people for a cleaning fee if they really can’t clean a apartment Every time you need something and you call the front they never answer never do always have to end up going to the office in person every night cars will pass by reving their cars or Loud music or people running down the hallway or the smell of weed from the people around us the smell of weed will go inside my apartment will make my whole apartment smell bad another thing was the dish washer would always have a bad smell no matter how many times I called them to come fix it or see what they can do all they told me to do was put Clorox and it will be good to go and that didn’t help and also our ac will break a bunch of times it will be so hot in our apartment half the times where we would have to call several times to come get it fixed . So if you thinking into moving into these apartments don’t you will regret it ."

"Sooooo, I would recommend ignoring reviews of people who just moved in because that's really not enough time to accurately review. My boyfriend and I moved in last December (2022) and the place was infested (and I mean literally infested) with cockroaches. No exaggeration, I killed about 20-50 cockroaches a day. They kept saying people came over to kill the bugs, but that wasn’t true because my boyfriend works from home all day and no one showed up… But eventually they came and we even had to be out of the apartment for a full day because of the toxic chemicals used. The apartment itself is pretty loud, there’s a lot of racing on the streets, especially at night. There were many times we heard gunshots (I don’t think it was in the apartment complex, but right near it). There were also a lot of dogs barking because owners would leave their dogs outside all night. There were also several stray cats in the area, still there at the time we moved out. They had valet trash that was supposed to come, but our trash was left out for days and they would only end up picking it up like once or twice a week. This caused the hallways to smell of trash and attract a lot of bugs. We (and a few other tenants) expressed our annoyance with this to the office and they said we had to call the valet trash company. That should be the office’s job since they employ them. Also, trying to get out/in the apartment is very challenging. The entrance/exit feeds on to a very traffic-heavy Barker Cypress Rd. There were several times where I was stuck at the exit for a solid 5 minutes trying to turn out. They desperately needed another entrance/exit onto a different road. This never happened to us, but we saw the tow truck a few times towing people’s cars, so just be aware they take the parking very seriously. The guest parking is only a few spots in the very back of the complex. There’s also been several reports of crimes that made me pretty anxious, especially when I was by myself. It was very frustrating trying to get the people in the office to do their jobs. They were trying to charge us fees for stuff that we’d already given to them (like renters insurance). We got charged a very hefty bill at move out, despite the fact that I’m a clean freak and left the apartment very spotless. Carpet cleaning and stuff is totally normal, but we were charged like $170 for stove top polishing (the stove was super clean when we left and not scratched or anything). I’ve never lived in an apartment complex that was charging so much for so many random move-out fees. This was on top of our final move out payments so we ended up being charged nearly $700 despite our apartment being extremely clean and well-cared for. It was insane… There’s many other amazing apartments in the Houston area that charge similar rent. I would recommend keeping your options open and looking elsewhere."
