Meadows Southwest Apartments

"Management and lack of are unprofessional horribly rude. Male Tenant came out in front of children in broad daylight butt naked. I called the police and when they came and knocked on his door there was n/a. The perv still resides in the complex, so that lets you know they don’t care about the safety of innocent children and decency for other residents. Management didn’t do anything probably because he knows him personally. Now the same tenant comes out in underwear in front of children. Maintenance broke in my home. They bust my windows, glass was outside not the inside of my apartment. Maintenance dripped blood all over my bedroom. They stole multiple Apple devices, then the dummies locked the front door and left blood on the doorknob. Management took that lightly and defended the maintenance. Management has entered my apartment for no reason when I asked her she replied she doesn’t know why she was in my apartment then stated she got apartments mixed up. Don’t let the specials fool you. Management tried to increase my rent by almost a $100 increase. Currently I’m working with the Houston Apartment Association. This complex is not a complex you would want to call home or raise children. I can almost guarantee that management is renting to illegally non- U. S. citizens."

"Don't be fooled by the renovations, same old roach infested dump. My air conditioning keeps going out, I understand, the AC units are ancient. This place was build probably in the 1940s so the AC units are very old and break often, but then it takes maintenance months to fix it. Maintenance staff are rude, will just enter your apartment, walk on your carpet and floor with dirty boots and worst of all, not fix the AC. I had to be real friendly with one of the maintenance employees. I asked him why they never fix anything. He told me they have a max of 45 minutes per ticket. The last time my AC broke, it took two months and it was during summer. Finally, they installed the tiny window unit to keep me cool. You will suffer once you sign the lease. During that time when my AC was out, I literally went to camp and sit in the office to make sure they would do something. While sitting on the office sofa, another resident came in to complain that there was no water in her apartment, she had with her two small kids. After she told them her problem, she sat down. The employee wasn't responding, she was starring at the desk shuffling some papers around, looking mad. Then the employee pulled out her cell phone from a drawer and called someone. She started yapping to the other person on the phone with her in a foreign language! She was completely ignoring the resident in front of her. Finally, the resident got tired and walked out with her kids. I couldn't believe this is America! After the lady and her kids left, a second employee came and sat at her desk. They started gossiping about the resident and her kids. They were saying that the resident has an older daughter who is a prostitute! I live on the building across that resident. I had never seen the older daughter they were talking about. Anyways, later I came to find out the daughter was real, and they were calling her a prostitute cause she likes to hang out with her boyfriend, in the evenings by another building. So, just know that the employees wont fix your problems but gossip about you. Oh, they were laughing so hard! You pay for what you get. This place is delusional. It's like hell, and the ROACHES...I have come to love them. I hire my own pest control to take care of them. At least the roaches are a problem I can take care of on my own. I wouldnt complain about the roaches. When it gets warmer, you can literally watch them crawl from one apartment to the others on the outside walls. I wan't to continue, but let me stop there. Happy renting and take care."

"They can't get their accounting right! I've had notices twice about "delinquent rent" that I didn't owe. A third time, they just came into my apartment and took my tv without leaving notices! (3 days before Christmas!). I was never offered anything other than an 'oops!' after they removed property from my apartment. The problem continues! Also, I have roaches coming up through my drains, and you have to call every week to stay on the pest control list. Terrible place!"

"I lived here from 2005 til 2010. I lived in two different units during that time and never had any problems with neighbors or management. One benifit from living here is there is not alot of traffic through south drive. There is a decent gym, and the pools were maintained. The rent was reasonable and when there's a problem with something in the unit management responded within a day."

"Office staff are Great when it comes to moving u in big shout out to Carla, she's fabulous i needed to move asap and it was a Sunday she got me approved to move in and also a special Missy and Jenny are Awesome as well anytime i have a concern, or need they get it done! The only downfall I have is the ROACHES.... THEY DONT SEEM TO GO Away! And it's keeping me away from home but if you looking for a place to stay where you will be treated fair and the lady's in the office really take care of your needs and concerns this will be a good place"
